How to permanently dye hair black NATURALLY

I am not trying to lighten my hair in any way. I know I have heard of ppl dying their hair darker and the box color still dyes their hair out.?

Is there a natural type of PERMANENT hair color that will give me a Dark Black that doesnt have all those chemicals in it?

Indigo is a natural color, that when used over henna makes a black that is as permanent as you can probably get. It will fade over time (in my experience), but not as badly as chemical color does. If you leave it on long enough, it may be truly permanent. You can read more about it and how to do it at Henna for Hair. That's where I order mine. Using henna and indigo takes much longer than chemical color (it needs to be left on for hours to really work) but it's all natural and actually good for your hair. Just be sure to moisturize really well afterwards as it opens up the hair shaft to deposit the color.
