Perking up Colour
I henna my hair burgundy which has faded a little, I just want to perk up the colour in my hair. I don't want a full henna dye job, i just want to add... well some perk :toothy6:

The plan is to add burgundy henna (from my local Indo/Indian mart), with my very rich and creamy conditioner. Then leave it over night, my theory is that it will add colour but not very intense.

Is there a better way to liven up my hair with henna? Again I don't want to do a full henna job just spruce up the colour a bit.

Any tips?

Okies so this is what I have done in preparation for tonight.

I picked up burgundy henna/herb hair colour form my local Indo market. Its a box with 6 sashays. I mixed 4 sashays in with my super creamy conditioner last night with a good splash of ACV.

Tonight after work i'll put it on and rinse it out in the morning.

I'm a bit excited I love home brewing for my hair :toothy8:

I am super happy with my colour!

Life got a bit crazy this week so I didn't get to colour my hair till last night. I left it on for about 2 hours then blow dried the last part dry like the instructions suggested. The colour is really vibrant and shinny and my hair feels and looks healthy.

I suspect that my way of washing my hair (CO pre-poo, co-wash, RO/DC) removes a lot of my colour. So to amend this what I am go to do from now on is put a sashay of the burgundy henna hair colour in my RO/DC.

This has been an enjoyable learning curve.
