help please dyeing my hair ????

Hi, i have recently tried to dye my hair at a salon and the color did not take the stylist said id have no choice but to bleach it and to come back in 2 weeks. since i wasnt too keen on bleaching i waited the 2 weeks but i dyed my hair using the clairol textures and tones at home dye. the colour changed from black to dark brown although that wasnt the color i wanted i was happy considering ive been using black hair rinses on my hair for ages and a salon couldnt even get me a result. since my hair is brown i believe a second try with the dye will give me the color i want , how long do i have to wait before i can try again ? another 2 weeks? I havent had any deyness or breaking or change in curl pattern thus far ... so what do you think?
Are you using permanent, semi permanent or demi permanent colours? Are you saying you have dyed from brown to black to brown? If so have you not tried a peroxide free colour remover?

I think you should be doing strand tests so you know what colour you are likely to get and what condition.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah

Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect

The more shades you lift the more damage you do regardless if you do that in one process or multiple, but ALL permanent processing is damaging because it all contains peroxide.

Again do strand tests, nobody here knows what condition your hair is in or whether a third process will damage it beyond what is acceptable to you. Two weeks is not some magic time limit, hair is dead it never permanently repairs itself. To limit the damage do hydrolysed protein treatments and coconut oil soaks.

The reason you did not get results was you were already using a black rinse in your hair.

If you've already used ANY artificial pigments on your hair, you WILL HAVE TO BLEACH IT OUT.

The hair stylist colouring your hair should know this!!! Did she not even ask you if you had coloured your hair before?

A good colorist will decolorize your hair with a bleaching shampoo concocted with shampoo and bleach. By applying while your head is in the sink, she can watch as the colour lightens to the level you need to go to for your desired result. THEN she can tone your hair to the right shade.

I would be concerned about doing this at home after you've already treated your hair twice with permanent colour which is already damaging enough.
lol like this?? Usually one bleach application gets you copper but its way too damaging! I didn't really want this color but i had to dye it twice with the same color- Dark&Lovely Honey Blonde.

I usually use Revlon or Garnier but this wasn't so bad and my hair doesn't seem too damaged but i did this on Friday.
