Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Lite

Was surprised to see this product in the store, and doubly surprised to see it labeled silicone free. I have a bottle next to me, with these ingredients listed:

Water (Aqua), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Beeswax, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Myristic Fragrans (Nutmeg) Kernel Oil, Xanthan Gum, PVP, Silica, Phenyl Trimethicone, Polyurethane-14, AMP-Acrylates Copolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum).
So it contains not only three different 'cones, but polyurethane as well. Whereas in the Curl Mart, the same product with the same packaging is listed with these ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Beeswax, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Flower Oil, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sodium Bicarbonate, Xanthan Gum, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum)
...Which is similar, besides the conspicuous absence of 'cones and chemicals "widely used in high resiliency flexible foam seating, rigid foam insulation panels, microcellular foam seals and gaskets, durable elastomeric wheels and tires, automotive suspension bushings, electrical potting compounds, high performance adhesives and sealants, Spandex fibers, seals, gaskets, carpet underlay, and hard plastic parts" (thanks, Wikipedia).

I bought mine at Sephora less than two weeks ago, before I had made the decision to phase out silicones. Did the formula change recently? The Sephora website still has silicones listed under the ingredients tab. Can anyone clear this up?
Hey Saroyan!

Thanks for doing that research and congrats on eliminating 'cones, I've been flirting with the idea of buying the Hair Milk after so many good reviews but this is kinda discouraging. Hmmm, hope you get more info on this, but it seems you got the product info on point.

Try calling one of the Carol's Daughter sales rep and see if they can help assist you in verifying the ingredients, lots of luck to you and be encouraged, there are so many great products out there for us if this doesn't quite work out for you!

You might get better responds there since this section is used only for CurlyMart news and stuff... best of luck.

I don't know how to move a thread... can the moderators help out?
I wish I saw this before I ordered this product from curlmart, listed as cone free on the website at the time I purchased it. The bottle I got from curlmart lists the cones in the ingredient list.
