You and Turtles - sounds like I really need to get a camelback, huh?

In other news, I don't know how many total pounds I've lost, but I'm glad to say that I'm comfortably wearing size 14 clothes, down from 18W/20.
I wish I was where you were right now. Let me exit this thread to keep the positivity going

You will get there...we both will! One day at a time! Don't try and measure your success by someone else's.
We all go at our own paces. You're moving in the right direction and that's what is important.

I'll share some success

I'm only four pounds away from my goal weight and fit into my size 6 jeans. I'm very pleased.

Yay!!! I need to be right behind you. I need to budget though to get some more. On another note starting jillian's ripped in thirty. Hoping to have enough money in a couple of weeks to buy her body revolution

Today's run was awesome. I had not run in a week and I ran 2 miles in 30 minutes. Even when I took a break I did not finish two full laps around the walking trail. Yaaay!! AND I'm 3 lbs away from losing 10% of my body weight

Lost 15 inches off my body last month (YEAH BOY!!!). Unfortunately the scale didn't move one lick. Up and down the same 2-3 pounds. It JUST moved this morning after 3 weeks of nothing.

Had to purchase new bras (I'm not happy about this one). 42DDs are now to big...down to a 40DD and in some styles a 40D. I liked my tig ole bittys and they are fading into the sunset. Sigh.

I'm so excited. I ran 3 consistent miles on Monday...at a 9:50 pace. I have not ran 3 solid miles together since before kiddos (2005). I was so excited. Now I just have to work on speed... I still want to hit my goal of running a 5K competively...but now at least I know I can make it that far.

My weight is staying the same even with all the exercise and watching what I eat...maybe I need to measure inches. Do you guys do your own measuring? Have anything you follow?

Man I know it's my eating that's keeping me from my 10% goal. But if you are doing things right you may want to switch to inches till the weight catches back up

Actually I was stoked about it but I was out of this world with happiness when my dad was impressed.

I have lost no weight so far, ....well I haven't actually weighed myself because I'm scared too. LOL. But I haven't noticed any noticeable changes.

This week is week 7 of couch to 5k, I'm running 25 minutes straight tuesday, thursday and saturday, I think.....

I ran 25 last saturday. It was awfully slow. It was like 30 minutes for two miles, I want 12 minutes for each mile, which I think I can do 12 minutes for one mile but the next one is gonna be like 17 minutes lMAO.

Ugh. my calves are really really tight when I run and it's painful which is why I go so slow. I can't get them to not be tight.

I don't stretch before I run because I'm scared it will cause me to run bad.....does anyone stretch before hand? I guess I can give it a try tuesday, but I get very superstitious when I start exercising....

I'm eating healthy....well I mean I occasionally slip but the fact that I've incorporated exercise from no exercise since 2010 is like a big improvement, there should be some change. damn.

I'm trying to get an 8 minute mile by october. Which is totally doable but I'm impatient, I need improvements now.

I'm doing a 5k in like 6 weeks so hopefully I will be able to run it in less than 35 minutes ( I better or I'm slapping myself)

I stretch before I run. Not a lot (I should do more)...but definitely the calves, quads and hamstrings... Try stretching some before...5 minutes. Then stretch afterwards...which will help too. My calves tighten up...especially as muscle is building.

I recommend taking measurements. I have my trainer take mine but you could take them yourself. I notice MUCH bigger changes with the measurements espically as the scale is starting to slow down. 1/2 an inch here....3/4 of an inch there....it adds up more than you think and it does a world of good to your esteem and moral.

This is the first time I've done the side by side comparison. I'm going to look at this when ever I get discouraged about these last 40 pounds because I've come a LONG way.

Wow, this is the first time I've looked at this thread and I just wanted to say you look amazing. Big difference. I always think pictures are the way to go because memories aren't always accurate.
