Workouts for antisocials.
 
My new favorite workout is the Gorilla Workout. It's available on the iPad for $1.99 App Store - Gorilla Workout

Why I like it?
  • I hate someone telling me what to do - even if it is by video.
  • I hate someone encouraging me and trying to tell me I'm doing a great job. As Katt Williams says "it's called self esteem cause you're supposed to do it yo-self!"
  • I hate having to keep up/slow down with someone else's pace. Let me breathe in a way that is natural to my fitness level.
  • It's portable: I can do it anywhere, without any exercise equipment. Lifting my heavy body is a workout enough. Although space isn't much of a concern for me, it is small-space friendly.
  • There's no talking in the demo exercises, no fluffy wording. Just basic instructions.

hmm...I might have to check this out..because, like you, I reeaally dislike much of the perkiness, etc. on workout videos. Is it easy to follow?

Yes. You get a screen with your workout plan. Something like
4 sets
10 push ups
5 lunges
15 squats

And if you don't know what that exercise is, you can watch the demo video iin silence or read a description.

Every day you do something different.

i don't have an ipad or an iphone yet but my guy friend showed me a nike app (free) that is also very exercise focused without the fluff. demos are available. the app times ou and you can do the workouts to you music on your iphone. i'm not sure how similar it is to what you posted webbie but the nike app was appealing!

I also start exercise workouts to lose some weight and to burn my belly fats that's why I join the yoga program that recommend by my friend.

Webjockey, I was looking at this app yesterday before I saw this thread. Are you seeing good results?
