Default Resistance Bands

I'd like to incorporate some strength training into my current workouts, which are mostly cardio. I bought some resistance bands today and was wondering if any of you ladies used these. If so, I'd love to have your input on any tips, advice or information you'd like to share. TIA!

I want to get some of those to add to my home fitness equipment! Where did you get them and how much were they?

WalMart, <$15 for a set of 3 bands of different resistance, 2 detachable handles, removable nylon strap, fabric sleeve for wear and tear, mesh drawstring bag and DVD. I figured I could hardly go wrong at that price.

ETA: this is what I got.
