Default So My Upper Ass Is Fine, But The Lower Ass Is Droopy, What Can I Do?

I swear you can split a brick on my upper ass, but my lower is droopy. Is there an exercise to lift my lower ass? I've googled, but I get all the squats/lunges, but they really only address the legs and upper ass.

I think this will help. I've always been flat and for the first time at age 58 I am seeing some definition back there, plus it's fun.

I appreciate the post, but these are exercises I already do and they are not lifting my butt. Butt exercises seem, to me, to concentrate more on the thighs. Like squats, lunges, etc. Maybe I should do donkey kicks. I don't know. Glad they are working out for you.

So, I went dancing last night. This singer in the band is singing "How low can you go?" I started to go down thinking I will only go half way down and I end up all the way to the floor.(not holding onto anything!) When I came up I felt like I needed to stretch out my back and I leaned forward and ended up touching my toes. I was like "You go girl!" When I left the dance floor, I was passing the bar area and this woman asked me to help her to do what I did on the dance floor. The funny part is that she was with "The Crooner" I went out with (on the bad date.) I tried to show her, but she could only get half way down and needed help to get up. The "Crooner" and I made eye contact then I left. His loss.

My thighs are rock hard like my upper butt. I just need to lift the lower butt. I'm still open to suggestions.

I'm not sure what the exercise is called, but you basically get down on all fours and, without arching your back, you raise your right (slightly bent) leg up towards the ceiling (make sure you squeeze your butt when you do it), then drawn your knee to your chest and bring it back down to the floor for 1 count. Then repeat with the other side.

Try donkey kicks and butt crunches. Just squeeze together hold for a count of 15, release and repeat. Its the only thing I can think of. You are already doing everything else.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. These are not squats/lunges, etc. I hate those and they never helped. This is not Tammi Lee Webb, there is not one squat or lunge, well ok a little squat in the warmup, but it is nothing.

Sorry, Janna. I use to have that tape and I couldn't remember the exercises. I just assumed it was the same lunges and squats exercises as most are.

There are so many "Buns of Steel" workouts that you may have had a different one. This one is taught by a man instead of a woman. Anyway, I actually find it fun.

I recommend the Brazil Butt Lift dvd set. He works every bit of your ass-al area. My lower butt lifted quite a bit in short order. There are squats and lunges, yes, but there are also ballet moves and other things that target little-utilized areas.

I got mine from Amazon Marketplace for about $40-45.

Ladies, thank you for all the great info. Once I get over this miserable cold I'm going to get started on these exercises.
