I bet cleaning out the garage will be a workout all by itself! Lol

Yes, ordering Mr. Spring around is a job.

I really can't wait to get started on it, so excited to organize it and finally be able to find stuff!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I just really had no clue that I am that weak. Jillian brought me back to reality that's for sure! Are you seeing improvement with the ease and number you are able to do?

Great job on pushing through it. I'm going to remember you on the day I feel like slacling off!
Oh yes. Like she says, by day 5, 6, 7, you can really see an improvement on your endurance. It never gets 'easy' cause its a good workout, but it gets easier to make it through.
You do end up enjoying the challenge rather than feeling tortured. I did level 1 for a full 2 weeks. Every day. ( I may have skipped one day that I went kayaking.) I've done 4 days of level 2. I definitely notice a difference in my body. It is toning up. I don't think anyone else will be able to tell yet, but I can!

That's enough reason for me to stick with it.

Its only 20 minutes...its only 20 minutes...

Day 2 of the 30DS complete! Level 1 again.

Today my arms were pretty sore. I wanted to push through it but I ended up taking a pain pill. I couldn't take it anymore!

Since I already knew what the exercises were going to be I was able to pay more attention to my form. I'm having a lot of trouble keeping my knees from going over my toes.

28 days to go! I can do this!

Day 3! Level 1

Arms are still sore. Legs are a little bit sore too.

I'm so pumped to see myself at the end of 30 days! I was on an exercise website earlier today and people were posting before and after pictures for the 30DS. Some of the transformations were pretty neat! I'm on my phone so I'll try to post the link later.

Day 4 level one.

One day closer to day 30. I think I'm going to attempt to add in some extra cardio (especially on the weekends) to see better results. My goal is to add something at least twice a week.

I don't know what's gotten into me. It's tough but I'm super motivated for some reason.

greenjumper, that is awesome! I'm so glad you're feeling motivated to push yourself.

Things are quiet here on the exercise front with Mr. Spring being off work, but we did spend 9 hours working on our garage today so at least I was up moving around. We've got more to do with it tomorrow, but it's pretty exciting seeing it all come together! I'm exhausted and sore, but at least I'll sleep good!

Spring1onu : 9 hours! Geez that's like a day at a full time job. I know that was hard work. Plus, sometimes when you're cleaning out stuff in garages you'll never know what you'll find. Probably stuff you forgot you even had.

Day 5! Level 1

I still hate push-ups...

Here's the link I was talking about:
The Ultimate Before and After 30 Day Shred Thread | MyFitnessPal.com
You can really see a difference in the pics whether the person started out being 50lbs overweight or 10lbs. It really did give most people great results!

Today we went to a BBQ. The food was delicious but I know I went way way way over my calorie limit.

I'm pretty sure I'll forever hate pushups.

Another 9 hours today, but we're finished!! I am so exhausted even my tired is tired and I think if I tried to get out of my recliner right now I'd keel over.

It's going to be hard to get back in the swing of an exercise routine come Monday.

I should have taken some before pics but I really didn't want pictures of my fat ass.

I'm not really doing much to my diet (but I really dont eat bad anyway), nor am I doing any other exercises. I'm just doing the shred, and occasionally Ill do extra sets of push ups and sit ups.

This is the same reason I decided not to take a before picture.

I was like...."Hmmm, maybe I'll take one the second time around." Lol

All right, I'm going to join you shredding ladies, starting this evening.

I did the 30-Day Shred to help lose weight after my 2nd child was born, and it was quite effective. The past year or so though, my weight has slowly been creeping back up, and I don't like it. I've been bicycling and lifting weights pretty consistently, but I clearly need to turn things up a notch. I'd been running quite a bit last fall, but I had an injury and got completely out of the habit. I'm hoping to get back into that too, at least one day a week.

I also need to get a better handle on my food intake. Ice cream, salty snacks, and wine have been my downfall. I am definitely not too low on calories.

Ovulating sucks for me. Most people don't notice ovulation, but mine is worse than my period.

I feel fat, and bloated and tired.

I've eaten under 1300 calories for the past 3 days. I feel very unmotivated and frustrated. I should be seeing more results with low calorie intake and exercise.

I'm feeling let down today.

Day 7 of Level 1.

I can't believe I'll be at Level 2 already after 3 days. I don't really feel prepared for it... Oh well, my goal was to move onto the next level after 10 days so I'm going to stick to it.

Please no push-ups in Level 2...Please no push-ups in Level 2...Please... Please... Please...

Awww, Iroc! I'm sorry. Bloating sucks. It's no fair!

You may be having results but the bloating is just covering it up. Or, it could be that the results are so gradual that it's hard too really see. (Hence people taking before and after pics so they have a side by side comparison)

I was thinking it also could be that "starvation mode" thing with taking in only 1300 calories. Weren't Spring1onu and SilverCurls talking about that earlier?

You're over halfway finished with the 30 days, right? You can do this! I bet you'll be so proud of yourself when it's all said and done.

I'm not even putting myself on thar caloric intake. It just so happens that when I went back and checked, that's the average of what I'm eating.

I'm sure its ovulation. I have a bad time with it. I'm also on the 3rd week, which is usually a rough time in the exercise regimen.

Well today I did what I usually do when I start to feel like giving up on a workout - I take it up a notch!

I started level 3 today.

Although I don't look like I've been doing this for almost a month! I wasn't really doing well w 2, so maybe ill do an extra week of 3.

Anyway, I liked it better than 2. 2's moves were hard for me.

I started this on June 13th. I've proud of how I've stuck with it, and I do feel stronger. I'm going to have to give in and start running with my man soon.

Who else is on Week 2? Doesn't the excerises seem ackward. I didn't really sweat cause I was to focues on completing the moves right.

Today was weigh in. I lost about 1 pound but I feel like I am getting toner. It's discourging. My goal is 125 by 8/18 but it doesn't seem like I'll be meeting it. Maybe I'll change my goal to 130. It's a weak move tho.
