Default Twice a day?

Does anyone workout twice a day. Does anyone work out before bed?

I don't workout twice a day but I used to workout before bed when I was going thru my initial graduate school program...I wasn't working so I usually slept most of the day, got up mid-day, went to class in the afternoon/evening, had dinner, did homework and then worked out either at home or at the 24hr gym anywhere between 10pm and 2am depending on my mood.

It was fine initially but the later I worked out the later I stayed up bc I ended up being WIDE awake which was fine bc of how my lifestyle was at the time. However this would NOT work for me now. I am back going through school again to get my licensure and I have a 5yr old so a late work out is an extreme NO NO! I need all the sleep I can get now! Lol.

Despite the fact that I still despise getting up early, the early morning workouts seem to be the best for me, bc my child is still asleep (so I truly have undisturbed me time) & it helps set the tone for the remainder of the day. If things get too hectic and I can't workout until later in the evening I keep the workout light, like a brisk walk with weights or my yoga or belly dancing dvd.

I try not to work out before bed! I usually try to have at least 4 hours between when I finish my workout and when I go to bed.

I used to work out twice and day and during that time I had awesome results. It can't hurt, in my opinion. I never did any high intensity stuff during that time, just low to medium intensity walks or jogs around my neighborhood. It made me have to take multiple showers a day too...but I didn't mind.

I use to do 2 workouts a day. The first one was intense...weightlifting mainly and hard intense cardio. Evening workout was walking around 2 miles with the dog. It was mainly for the dog...I never looked at is as a workout...until my workout partner pointed it out. I don't think you need to work out intensely 2 times a day....but a hard/easy workout is great.

I work out twice a day at the moment. I hate working out in general but I have to get my body back right and I think this will allow me shorter more intense workouts. In the morning I do circuit training which is a mix of strength training and cardio. In the evenings (maybe 3 hours before bed), I do straight cardio.

I've done this before, last summer specifically, and I'm thinking of starting again. Due to stress and just a general lack of hunger, I'm actually at the weight I was in high school when I played volleyball (I'm almost done with college), but I really want to be more toned. I was doing two Bodyrock workouts (essentially two 20 min or less high intensity interval training workouts, similar to Crossfit but often with no equipment, ideal for me to do at home) almost everyday and I loved my results, so I'm hoping I can stay approximately the same weight (possibly go from 145 to 135 at the very most) and mainly get more toned.
