Ab Challenge!

Still doing a 10 minute ab video every day and doing my usual gym classes. Except for Monday when I did nothing because of a really bad migraine.
In Western PA
Found NC in 2004. CG since 2-05, going grey since 9-05. 3B with some 3A.
Hair texture-medium/fine, porosity-normal except for the ends which are porous, elasticity-normal.
Suave & VO5 cond, LA Looks Sport Gel, oils, honey, vinegar.

I've decided to add a 4th day of going to the gym instead of just going 3 days a week.

I'm going to do abs every time I'm there.

I made a huuuuuuuuuuuuge batch of roasted veggies when I got home from work. So good, and filling!

About to do some strength training for my arms, then will probably try the rest of the ab video I couldn't finish yesterday.

Roasted veggies are a staple at my house. Any and all veggies. Carrots, parsnips, cabbage, broc, cauli, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, squash, snap peas. I toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes, and a bit of raw sugar to caramelize the veggies nicely.
I make huge batches and freeze in ziploc bags to pop in the micro.

That's a good idea about freezing them. While my batch tastes good, I don't feel like it has enough seasoning. I know you probably eyeball it, but how much do you put on? I'm thinking about rotating veggies each week to try new ones. This batch I had fresh green beans, spaghetti squash, tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, and bell peppers (green, red & yellow). Roasted sweet potatoes sound amazing, I'll have to include those in my next batch. I feel like I've found the secret to eating veggies, finally!

Hey everybody, mind if I join your group? I've been trying to get abs for a LOOONG time, but for me it's especially hard. I have a lot of health problems which makes me very skinny (ugh, hate that word). So currently I'm trying to maintain weight, but I want to look fit, you know? Everybody always teases me about how I can't pick up "heavy" stuff. Right now I'm okay with my weight, but you can still see my ribs in front&back. I just don't know how to get abs because I can't do hard exercises without getting out of breath, dizzy, or just plain worn out! I think my max is 15 sit ups, then I'm done for the day. Any ideas or tips or similar situations? Thanks!

Gonna start my routine at ten sit ups, ten crunches, and try some three pound arm weights. Don't laugh at me! Believe it or not, it will be a challenge to do it daily...but now that I said I would, I have to.
I started a yoga class, I've never taken one before and have never really gotten into it because I'm not very flexible. I freaking loved it! It made me feel so refreshed, and I slept like a baby that night. I ended up irritating something with some arm workouts that resulted me in scheduling an MRI of my entire spine. Yikes. So light workouts + yoga for me right now, but I'm still eating well

Wow sorry about the MRI. I had to schedule one in March for my knee that I had surgery on. But nothing was wrong with it. It still gives me pain when working out but I don't let it stop me.

Hope all goes well with the MRI

Did more than my planned workout and feel like I can conquer the world. Hope this feeling lasts for more than today =)
Thanks gals! My MRI is tomorrow, they are doing the whole spine. Hopefully I'll have some answers soon and get myself fixed up.

I did some yoga last night, and plan to take a walk when I get home today. I kinda slacked last night on the eating, but figured I've been doing so well, I deserved it lol. Back on track today. My waist is getting skinnnnny. My tire around the stomach will never budge, it's frustrating.

You probably need to do some oblique exercises sixelamy. Even something as simple as heel touches while lying on your back with your knees bent like you're about to do sit-ups. Those help.

I didn't do as much ab work as I wanted this week but I did do aerobics and yoga classes and got in some good long fast paced walks. Will try to do some ab videos over the weekend.
