Great! I enjoyed every bite. I decided to cook alot of variety last night cause I haven't really had much vegetables. I am craving Cauliflower (mash potatoes) last time I went to the Grocery Store they didn't have any frozen or fresh

Good job Curly! I agree with everyone else. Vegetables are key! So low calorie, so filling, so good foryou, and you start to really develope a taste for them over time.

Thanks! Earthmama
Sorry I haven't been on much, I've been really busy with work and all.
I've done very good on the South Beach Diet, I have lost 11lbs so far. I feel pretty good too!
Eating habits are pretty good, although I did slip up and had a piece of my daughters birthday cake, but gotten back on the saddle.

Today was my last day on Phase I. I only lost 5.5 pounds in three weeks but that's better than nothing. I have 20 - 25 to go. Losing 30 would be ideal, but I'll be happy with 20 something pounds gone.
Maybe we can all encourage each other.

Yeahhh for YOU Myradelle!!!! You don't have a LOT of weight to lose, and that's why it wasn't more, but come on 5 1/2 pounds is AWESOME!!!!
I'm still doing it and loving the SB diet, my clothes are finally fitting from last summer again, woohooo!!!!

Hi Everyone!
I just joined NC recently and I'm so happy there's a South Beach thread. My bf and I are doing the diet for the second time around. The first time he lost 20 lbs and I lost 15. Then we gained some back over this past year (stress, eating whatever was fast and convenient). But we're back on track now. I've lost 8 lbs and he's lost 12 so far. I feel so much better when I'm eating South Beach style!

I'm getting the book today, so I can start this diet. Exercise alone just isn't cutting it anymore. I have to say goodbye to all the bread and pasta. I'm not exactly overweight. I just don't feel healthy. Idealy, I'd love to lose 10 or 15 pounds and tone up. It sounds like this is a great way to start. Learning that this is the diet that helped Jessica Simpson get in shape to play Daisy Duke made me really excited to try it.

Just bumping. I've been on SB for one week now, and I definitely feel much lighter. Anyone else still doing it?

I started the SB diet approx. one year ago to try and shed the excess baby weight that would not budge. I am 5"4 and May 2004 I was 161 lbs. which is a lot for me. The Dr. even wanted to check my thyroid to make sure nothing was wrong (before pregnancy, I was 128lbs). My last physical was the end of July and I weighed in at 125lbs!!!! I still follow SB very loosely. It's the best!!! I also work out at least 3 times per week for approx. 45 mins. (with two little ones, I just cannot squeeze in any more time). Good luck to everyone on this diet. Now, for me, this is no longer a diet but my lifestyle.
