I saw a close pictue of my arms and nearly cried...
OK, I know, it is not the end of the world but last summer I realized that I had a little bit of fat just above the elbow. It is visible when I fold and unfold my arm and I would like to get rid of it!
I am not fat even if I gained a few pounds those last times but I have to admit that I don't exercise much since some months (or years...). Has someone an idea for me? What type of exercise should I do to get rid of this? Perhaps should I follow a diet but I eat quite helthy so I don't know what could really offer me a drastic solution. I thought about making exercises but which one? Should I drink something (lemon potion of green tea...) to purge my body of the unnecessary fat? Thanks a lot for your help. |
Well don't quote me on this as I am far from a fitness expert but I would think if you start doing some cardio and lifting weights that should help.

Yup, you need to do some cardio, combined with free weights or even yoga. I don't think drinking any kind of tea is going to get rid of the problem.

Try free weights and push-ups (curls, chest fly, kickbacks, dumbell rows, etc). I use 5-10 lb. weights and sometimes a 10-15 lb. body bar and work on my upper body about 3x a week. That combined with cardio has helped me a lot.

I was in the same boat as you 2 months ago. I've been lifting 3 pound free weights pretty much every single day since then and my arms are thinner and have a nice muscle tone, but not bulky, they look sooo much better now!
