Exercise accountability thread

I miss running! I'm 18 weeks pregnant and was too freaked out to continue working out hard like I did pre pregnancy. Now I'm mainly walking, occasionally doing my pre natal aerobics video.
My physio was so pleased with my progress two weeks after surgery that she thinks I'll be allowed back in the gym by mid to late January. Yay!

I'm planning on buying a Wii with balance board to help strengthen my core because I hate doing yoga and pilates at the gym. Also I want to play Mario Cart. :P

still running, still torture...

Just think I used to worry 'bout things like that,
Used to worry 'bout rich and skinny, 'til I wound up poor and fat,
Nowadays I kind of worry where my mind's been at,
Just think I used to worry 'bout things like that. (Delbert McClinton - I Used to Worry from Never Been Rocked Enough)

I've been working out but not as much as I was before the holidays. I'm postponing the c25k training because there aren't enough daylight hours for me to get out and run.

Yesterday I did make it to the gym where I did the elliptical, upper body weight lifting and some stretching.
I've bought my Wii with balance board! It should be here soon and then I can start on core strength training.

Physio tomorrow afternoon, maybe I'll be allowed back to the gym.

Boo. Or maybe yay. I can't go back to the gym yet.

I must admit I'm kind of glad because I really don't want to. I think I was getting bored.

My Wii hasn't arrived yet.

I'm glad for this thread because I really fell off the wagon. It was bitterly cold in NYC and I just couldn't do my usual walking. Also, I was upset about work and didn't eat properly and just wanted to come home, scarf down something and fall into bed.

I know exercise is supposed to help depression and bad moods. To be honest, although I think exercise helps almost everything, it never helped my mood.

Feeling somewhat better now (made an appt. to see my shrink) and weather is great. I'll walk today and tomorrow with vigor! I love to walk - get to see my beloved trees in the park.
2/c and some 3A.
Protein sensitive but can use occasionally
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

I'm jumping in here! 8 weeks postpartum, 5'6" and 145. Would like to get to or pass my pre pregnancy weight of 135# in the next month while still on maternity leave.

Started a food diary as well. Nursing (which burns about 500 cals a day, or about the same as 1.5 hours of situps)

So... Today I did 20 mins of Brazilian butt DVD ( mostly cardio / squats ), and after baby sleeps I'll do 15-20 min moderate yoga.
