Did Nike Training before school today. Ah, I haven't gone running in a week due to the freezing temps and lack of proper gear. I agree, experience is so valuable in this.

W4D1 DONE!!!

I've been working out consistently at other pursuits but I haven't done C25K since autumn. I'm glad I took another crack at it today. I feel great!

I did NOT want to go running this morning, so it's a good thing that my husband is training for this half marathon with me and dragged me out the door.

11 miles total - 6 miles easy, then 5 at my half marathon pace. My training plan calls it a "race simulation". I call it painful (which I suppose means that it is an accurate race simulation :P).

Doing the 30 Day Shred again tonight. Tried it for the first time on Monday and I'm still sore, but I find that sucking it up and exercising helps with that sometimes.

This is an AMAZING idea. I am in desperate need of some accountability workout-wise.

6 days a week: Brazil Butt Lift DVDs
2 days a week: running on treadmill for 30 minutes
Fridays: 2 hour yoga class

My main issue has been time. I am a college student with 2 part time jobs, so scheduling any time for myself is nearly impossible. However, I need to make my health a priority and I think that the best way for me to do that is by scheduling time blocks for exercise.

Nutrition-wise, I've always done pretty well. I was raised by health conscious parents so I'm rarely tempted by fast food.

I'll be starting Monday 2/27. Wish me luck!

Good for you, and good luck! I ran 3.5 miles outside yesterday and am going again today. I don't usually do back to back days, but the weather is in the 60's so I'm taking advantage.

I'm interested in working on my stomach now, too. I've got a little pooch I'd like to get ride of. I have a friend who used an ab roller years ago and said it worked great...she ended up ripped. Anyone else ever used one of these?

I did thre Shred on Wednesday as planning, and there was much less soreness yesterday. I'm hoping I'll have time to do it this evening, but I don't think I will. If not I'll try for tomorrow morning or tomorrow evening.

Worked out 4 times this week...2 hours of cardio and 2 hours of full body weights and cardio with my trainer. I'm considering trying a spin class tomorrow...we shall see....

Good job, everyone!

Would anyone here be interested in doing a 12-week strength training program with me? The plan requires access to a gym.

I'm still sick. Ugh.

40 minutes on the Wii, mainly cardio. Nintendo thinks I suck at boxing, I'm not arguing that's hard to do.

I'm finally getting the hang of step though.

I did some physio core stuff with my new Swiss ball. And I have physio tomorrow morning.

Not back at the gym yet, I'm thinking if leaving it until April when I am settled back at work. Recovering from this surgery has been a lot harder than the last one.

Sunday: I worked out a little with some friends on my university's track
1 lap warmup
30 burpees
60 jumping jacks
2 laps (sprint straights, walk curves)
Some crunches

I was SO sore. I didn't plan on working out , I just got a text from a friend asking if I wanted to a fitness challenge with her sorority. It was fun!

Monday: I planned on getting up at 7 to run a little on the treadmill in my building, but I'm in college & it's midterm season...we all know how that story ends.

However, I did do the sculpt video of my brazil butt lift set!

I also made a a delicious protein shake:
About a cup of frozen strawberries and blueberries
One scoop of protein powder
Enough organic vanilla almond milk to cover the fruit in the blender

It helps with the soreness a little AND it helps you build lean muscle after!

Ran 4 outside today...the weather was in the 70's! Gorgeous! I have to admit, I'm getting pretty excited about my 1st race EVER in a couple of weeks. I read today that the 8K, which is the one I'm in, is sold out at 9500 participants! Yep, you read it right...9500!!! How freaking exciting is that?!?! I'm guessing the half and full marathons the following day have even more. Can't wait to tell you all about it...I know you're all waiting with bated breath!

W6D1 of c25k today. I think I will repeat it because I was unable to run the whole time. I have no idea why I picked that trail through the woods...
