Yesterday 20 minutes elliptical, 10 min stairmaster and one hellava long tennis match with my 15 year old in which he embarrassed me 5-1 but in the end we had a fourteen point deuce
Today, weights for arms and ab, 15 minutes on treadmill was going for 30 until I heard about Colorado shootings. Up until last year my brother lived in Aurora, he still works there 1.5 miles from the movie theatre. I was just in Denver last week. God bless the families.

Today: 1 hour outdoor bootcamp in the pouring rain. I was cold and wet but I feel great afterwards!

Just saw this...do the headaches only happen in the summer? If so it could be heat related and not exertion. Headaches like what you describe are a classic warning of heat exhaustion. Ate you drinking enough water before, during, and after your workouts. A good rule of thumb is 16oz before you workout...16oz for every 30 min during your workout, and then 16oz after your workout. Also, you can sub something like gatoraid or propel for some of the water to make sure you keep your electrolytes balanced.

I was thinking the same thing!!! I was in Colorado last week and went on a bike ride with my sister in law. Turned into the bike ride from hell. I forgot she had once trained for triathlons! We did about twelve miles in total and between the altitude and because I wasn't properly hydrated I ended up with these intermittent ice pick stabbing pains to the back of my head for two days afterwards.

I haven't worked out all summer!
I guess working 40-55 hours and taking 2 classes ate up all my time.
Aghhhh!
Now my school stuff is done, I'm about to work out! I miss being in half-marathon shape.

I spent most of my whole life not being in shape- a good weight but zero tone. So if you haven't worked out all summer, that seems like nothing in the bigger picture. Working 55 hours and taking two classes? I wouldn't even have the energy to post!
Yesterday, the weights and more tennis humiliation but not losing as bad to the 15 year old (6-4) with some well placed shots. Today elliptical for 20min, weights for the glut and thighs, treadmill for 15 min.

Finally worked out yesterday! Thank the lord. This was a productive/stressful/emotional roller coaster summer.

rush job today because had to go into work for a 9 am mtg. Before school was out I was up at 4:30 to go to gym and in work by 7:15. Boy did I get real lazy real fast. So... half hour of ab weights, arm weights and 5 min stair master. Finished up by 7 am ran home to wash the hair and make it appear curly. New shorter hair cut much easier to dry up pretty fast.

Today:
Every muscle group I could think off while trying not to laugh listening to bro science.
I was going to try Insanity when I got home but my spine said 'no chance' so I did the ironing instead.
Tomorrow, cardio and any muscle groups I forgot today.

Today:
30 mins bike and 30 mins cross trainer.
I was aiming for 45 minutes on both but the bike kept switching off and that annoyed me.
I'm going to download the Zombies, Run app. I hope it's worth the £5.99 it costs.

2 miles 25 minutes
Plus ten minute ABs
I do 2 in 20 on the treadmill so I'm going to blame the five minutes in being outdoors

Big muscle weights and then 30 minutes on the bike listening to Zombies, Run. That app really makes you move.

Yesterday: my bootcamp was on vacation this week...so I took the spin class at my gym and I'm totally HOOKED. I did two back to back on Saturday and I'm trying to decide if I'm willing to get up at 5am to go to the 5:45 am class 2x a week!

50 mins cardio. I forced myself to go. I had an afternoon slump and only picked up just before I left work.

45 mins bike while watching the action in the velodrome.
20 minutes crosstrainer watching the news and more action in the velodrome.
Try it. I found I was trying to keep pace with the riders. Talk about Hard work.

1hr spin class followed by 30 min power lifting session with my trainer. He clearly was on that BS tonight because I am exhausted. I'm going to bed...and it's only 9:30!
