Weights and 30 mins on the bike (not much effort put in though)

Ok, I'm joining this thread. I finally joined a gym last week after over a year off, and really hoping I stick with it.

Today I did 45 min of cardio followed by stretching and abs. Tomorrow I have an appt with a trainer where she'll tell me the workout plan she's made up for me and then walk me through a 30 min session. I expect I'll be nice and sore for the next couple of days.

30 mins with the weights. The place was packed after yesterday's snow day so I didn't do as much as I wanted.

I'm also an eating machine right now.

Walked really hard and fast for 1/2 hour yesterday. Had to do it back and forth in a tunnel under Grand Central Station because it was too cold outside, and I am very proud of myself.

Can't wait for warmer weather so I can march around outside again. Going to start doing some situps and lifting at home....trying to motivate myself to add this to the walking.

I've been doing really well, got to the gym 5 times last week, and of course now I'm sick. Not sure how this week will go, I'm hoping I'll be ready to go back in a couple of days, but we'll see.

Sunday: weights. A lot of leg work.
Monday: Pilates. Harder than it looks.
Today: crippled.

Thanks CP. I'm having a few days off now. My legs still ache from Pilates. I think a lot of chocolate biscuits will fix it

Hi CL, I've had to suspend walking to manage a huge work project which meant I had to get up at 4:00 in the a.m. and stay late. Just to keep going I am eating all the wrong foods too!

Today I split a zipper and had a wardrobe malfunction, but thank god it is all over and now I can return to walking hard and eating better. Thanks for asking. More motivation for me to stick with it.

Edit: just done about 40 mins cardio. I'm struggling to breathe through my nose as the moment, it feels like there's something jammed up there. Anyone ever had this? I don't have a cold.
