I'm doing weight watchers also! Ive gone on and off of it for years now and it has been the only thing that has truly worked for me. I just started again two weeks ago so I can't wait to weigh in on sunday and see how I've done so far!

I was supposed to go indoor snowboarding today but I chickened out as its the first time since my back surgery. I was all excited until I woke up and wussed out.

I lugged 3 loads of laundry up 2 flights of steps to the apartment laundry room, then walked back to my apartment (the entire complex is made of steep hills) twice for odds and ends. Not to mention multiple trips to the car to carry on a texting convo (my phone had to charge)

I think this should count as an actual workout.

Another update: Made a spinach/beet/mixed berry/orange juice/apple smoothie......instead of potato chips and pimento cheese dip and pb&j sandwich.

Was very, um, "beety" but still tasty. I have another batch in the freezer for work tomorrow.

The kid enthusiastically helped but refused to try--she was too grossed out by the beets, spinach, and ensuing color.....

Did 4 classes last week (1 hour each) plus an hour on the circuit machines. Also did my 250's every day (crunches, push ups, planks, etc).

45 mins on the bike today.

Stiff ironwork after pillocking about on Saturday afternoon with dead lifts.

Edit: just back from 1 hour Pilates. Pilates is now a regular Monday evening activity.

I still have a dead leg from a trapped nerve.

Back to weights today but I've had to modify things to account for my trapped nerve and weak leg.

I've just signed up for Jamie Eason's LiveFit 12 week course. Exciting!!!

Edit: I've just downloaded the 100 push-up challenge app. I've managed 4 real push-ups so far.

You are my hero CurlyLaura! I thought of you today as I walked really hard and fast (in a huge tunnel where I go back and forth when the weather outside is hopeless).

Hope your hair color disaster was fixed. What happened? I screwed up my hair color recently also.

I have done two sets of exercises from this awesome site backonpointe.tumblr.com for the past three days. Weather has been icky so I have been mostly home bound.

I turned it orange, then gold, then more gold and now it's a colour that exists in nature.

Considering what you've been through cp I think you get the hero status.

Edit: at the gym right now. I've had to resort to the women's fitness room because the men couldn't understand what I was doing in 'their' section. So I've just had to put up with men lifting so heavy they have crap form to the women lifting lighter than their handbag. Urgh! This town. Also everyone is obsessed with ab work. All the ab work in the world will not out train that beer belly.

Edit 2: do not do squats in Nike pants. Instant crack shot. I need new higher waisted pants.

I did my 250 crunches/push ups etc every day, did the circuit machines twice for 30 min each time, and did 4 hour long classes - stepboxing twice, classic aerobics, and a fusion class that about killed me.

I now have another exercise to add to my no list.

Barbell/dumb bell chest press - too much pressure on my lower spine lying on a bench.

Anyway, I did full body weights today.

Yesterday: weights and rare ab work work.

Today: 60 mins cardio

Edit: I'm keeping my health and fitness goals here. I'm considering deleting my posts in the swimsuit thread.

Took the entire week off and did absolutely no exercise. Didn't even think about it. Back to it tomorrow.

My 8 weeks Pilates class starts this week!

Will be doing that 2x a week and probably yoga 2x a week with running 3x for my race. And maybe spinning once a week for fun because I enjoy spinning.

Today is weights for about an hour. I feel like increasing the weight too. Hopefully the squat rack will be available.
