I did a 90 minute Ashtanga yoga class on Thursday. I'm about to head to the workout room at my apartment complex, and will either use the treadmill or lift, depending on what's open.

wow, where is everyone?!! Thanks Wile for holding down the fort
I've been getting workouts in, more and more barefoot running...did a total of 11mi barefoot last week, 22mi all together (with minimal racing flats). Also lots of belly dance and zumba (I'm not certified to teach!!!) 12hr of zumba on Saturday kicked my butt! I"m still sore.
off to do a short run and some belly dance this am. HOpe everyone is enjoying nice springlike weather. Happy sweating!

Hour-long yoga class tonight. Planning to do the 30 Day Shred DVD tomorrow morning or evening, depending on how much time I end up having in the morning.

I've been going for walks lately, too, because the weather is so nice. That's more for mental health than exercise, though!

Zumba yesterday for an hour

busy workout week
Sunday:4mi sock run on treadmill at gym
Monday: 1hr cardio strength class
Tuesday: 1hr zumba
Thursday: 9.5mi barefoot run and 1hr zumba (taught my first two songs in class!!)
Friday: 1hr zumba, taught songs again. Lots of fun

And, no , it wasn't 20 min...
I've just been allowed to increase my gym activities by my physiotherapist after back surgery last year. Yay!

I've only been allowed to walk on a treadmill up until now and recently a cross-trainer, now I can do weights!!! But not too much and only machines because they provide support.

Anyway I did 50 mins cardio yesterday and some ab work. I need to strengthen my core to support the surgery site.

So today I was intending to go back to the gym and just walk on the treadmill for a bit. I managed 10 minutes before my limp came back. Stupid damaged nerve!! Grrr!

Oh well, I've packed my kit and am hoping to go again tomorrow after work.

I'm wanting to get back to my pre-injury state, but I have a feeling it's going to take longer than I thought it would.

I'm still sore w/ splints & hip aches, so off today. Hopefully Wed won't be too bad. I don't wanna overdo it....

I've not made it back to the gym yet. Work is tiring me out. I'm planning on going on Thursday because I'm not at work then and then again on sunday.

Wile!!! do tell! How did it all go and what was your time, rock on for a new PR Still so thrilled that you are such a runner now, just think where you were not to long ago working your way up to running.

I've been a maniac lately with workouts, now that I'm going to start teaching more zumba I'll be practicing more which is a workout in itself. Though I refuse to put running on the back burner, so it looks like more than one workout a day for me. Just means I can eat more I guess

I felt pretty good! Now that I feel recovered, will run this am. I can't believe I've been running like this either! I love it when I talk to folks & can encourage them at our fitness center...pretty feeling...

Thanks for the kudos! You know, you have been one of my biggest, if not biggest supporters It really does help getting on the board & supporting each other, ya know?

Curls are getting longer, hoping for waist length eventually.

Today, did about an hour of zumba routine practice with my sister, nothing super intense but practiced some routines and taught her the moves. Hoping for a run tomorroww, though looks like rain. We shall see.
