Hey, girl, I knew there was something I forgot to include in my post...
Awesome on the run/race...
I hope your foot is okay.....

Speaking of pounds...yeah, my last ten pounds are killin' me! Gotta get it down in 55 days
1 hr walk today... the weather's getting colder, I should've worn gloves this afternoon
The second half was nice though, once I'd worked up some internal heat.
2b, medium, lots of them

Mamacurl, hope your foot is ok!

Yesterday I did spin for an hour, then an hour of power yoga - the instructor is a machine! Today I biked the 9-mile round trip to work. I tried to get up early and lift but couldn't get out of bed.

Tomorrow I'll bike to work (weather dependent), then we're swimming 1.2 miles in the river. The local half-Ironman triathlon is this weekend. A lot of people in our tri club are competing so we're swimming the swim course tomorrow.

And I agree about those last few pounds!
Hope your foot is ok MC... that sounds painful!

30min interval program on the elliptical + quick ab session this AM.
Hope your foot is okay, MamaCurl!

Even though yesterday was a rest day, I enjoyed a nice walk with my SO. It felt good - kind of helped work the kinks out.

75 minute yoga class planned for tonight! - ETA: Done! Different teacher tonight, so we worked on a few new poses. And it ran over, so it was more like 85-90 minutes.

I'm down almost two pounds, which doesn't sound like a lot, but I've been in a plateau trying to lose the last 5-10 pounds for what seems like forever. So any scale movement feels like a victory!

Mama: I'm in Canberra, Australia so it's winter now. Today I wore extra layers and even then I didn't work up much of a sweat, it was cooold. How's your foot going?

Workouts: 45 min walk
1 hr salsa

30mins on the elliptical this AM.
Did Week 3 Day 2 of C25K this morning. I only made it 2 minutes into the last 3 minute run, though. I'm still pooped from last night and a little dehydrated. Lesson learned.
Ended up biking 13 miles yesterday. Didn't bike in today because of the rain and it looks like river swimming will be canceled due to storms. I'll hit the gym.

This time of year is lovely - the water is nice and warm but the sea nettles haven't arrived yet! We had a friendly cownose ray follow us last week I didn't see it but our accompanying kayaker told us.
I've not been to the gym this week. I haven't had time or the motivation. I'm doing a 5km walk on sunday for charity, so I'm kind of saving my limp for that!

I'm starting back properly next week as I have a few days off work and intend to focus on myself then!
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Q, I see. bummer it's winter there. Stay warm
no workouts on my end, just cleaning my house for our big birthday bash fo the kids this weekend.
here are some race pix

Didn't swim last night because of the storms, so I hit the gym - lifted then 20 minutes on the stairstepper and 25 minutes power-walking uphill. Today I'll bike 13 miles and probably a mile swim. Tomorrow will be a rest day.

Today, 30mins on the elliptical. Just realized last night my wedding is just a little over 3 months away. Holy crap! I hope I can meet my fitness goals by then!!

Good luck for the next three months!! What are you aiming to achieve by then?

If I remember correctly, we went swimming on a beach on Magnetic Island, which was my favorite spot, and also in deeper water to see the reef. There weren't sharks, as far as I knew, at the beach spot, but there was a "sighting" when were out at the reef and they made us get back on the boat. Boo! I went when I was 12 and I'd SO love to go back as an adult!

I'd like to lose another 10-15lbs and just generally lose some jigglies. I've already lost about 10 since I started about 8 weeks ago. I think I can do it. I just have to stay on track.
