Oh, Maggie Island is gorgeous! Although, it's known for its tiger sharks if you talk to the locals. My brother used to live there and he saw one while spearfishing.
Where in VA are you?? I'm on the eastern shore. Good luck with your goals! Those last 10 pounds are the hardest. (At least, they are for me!)

I'm in Loudoun County, quite a ways from the shore, but my SO and I will occasionally make a long weekend trip to Assateague (sp?) island. Those are some of the nicest beaches I've been to in a long time, better than FL and CA IMO.
I'm finding that losing weight is just HARD in general. I think because I tend to gain muscle really easily, I'm not seeing a lot of loss on the scale, which is frustrating. However, clothes are definitely fitting better/looser and my muscles are getting more defined. If I can just lose the chubby stuff OVER the muscle, I'll be thrilled!

Only a 45min walk today because that thing called Life got in the way :P
Yesterday was 1hr walk and 2+hrs salsa, so at least I got that in.
Going away this weekend (It's a long weekend in Aus, yay) so hopefully I can get some walking in but my hopes aren't high.

Biked 13 miles yesterday but didn't get a swim in because I couldn't find a swim buddy who swims at the same speed as me.

I did the 3 mile Race For Life sponsored walk today. Or as I have been calling it, the Limp For Life because I'm still limping a bit.
I did it in 50 minutes. Yay!!!!!
I'm off work monday, thursday, friday and the weekend, so I intend to go to the gym and do some stuff there too.

Yesterday I lifted and did 30 minutes on the stair-stepper. Today was an unintended rest day - decided to go to the beach instead! Tomorrow is spinning + power yoga.

Yay for the beach! I'm so jealous.
Today was the usual 1 hr walk. Normally I'd be out dancing as well as gym, but both are not on because of the long weekend. One of the few downsides hehe.

Over the weekend: 30 min interval on the elliptical + abs, arms, back on Saturday; abs + 45min "repeat" program on the elliptical - this just about did me in! VERY Hard!
Monday AM: 30 min interval workout on the elliptical.
Results: 11lbs lost so far. I feel like my goal is in sight.

Last night I lifted (upper body) then did spinning for an hour. I skipped power yoga because I was just too buggered! This morning I swam 1/2 mile in the river and biked to work.

One hour cardio broken down to this:
20mins cardio with 5 minutes being HIIT, 40seconds rest followed by 20seconds flat out
40mins on treadmill, starting at 3.1 mile per hour 0% incline for 15mins, 3.1 mile per hour 1.5% incline for 15minutes, 3.2 mile per hour 2% incline for 10 min.
I'm going back thursday till sunday alternating between cardio and weights so my body can rest.. My clothes are still feeling a bit tight, especially around my hips. I'm not used to that and it's got to change.

Got up early (yay me!) and lifted pretty intensely then biked to work. My legs are going to be sore!

1 hr walk and 1 hr salsa yesterday.
Tuesday was a rest day, so I'm gonna have to keep it up the rest of the week now.
Unfortunately it's raining today  hopefully it slacks off enough to get some walking in...

Ended up squeezing in a quick half-mile swim yesterday in addition to the lifting and biking to work.
I biked to work today too and will try to take the long way home to work off the blueberry muffins I had for breakfast (while watching the World Cup!). Tomorrow will be a rest day.

nice job keeping up with workouts and holding down the fort curlies!! I've still been getting some workouts in, did 30min eliptical and 1hr belly dance on Monday, 60min eliptical today and an hour of belly dance today.
