Exercise accountability thread

ooo, hula hoop workout! fun! at the dance studio I teach at, there is an actual hula hoop dance class I've been wanting to check that out.

Let's see, Saturday I got 1hr belly dance and a 4mi run on the treadmill (ugh, hate that thing).
Sunday 1hr belly dance and 25min core strengthening

Bad Curlypearl has been falling down on the job! My schedule has been crazy (which is a poor excuse). I'll report back tomorrow and try to get back in the groove. I miss it and I definitely feel physically better (and even more important for me these days, better about myself) when I do it.

Glad for this thread which I use to motivate myself.

Monday:6mi barefoot run with jogger, 3mi with wind, 3mi back against it gusting at 20-25mph Needless to say I didn't plan that route very well LOL

Since I'm at a weight/size where I'm pretty happy, I've been working into a maintenance mode lately. My new goal is to "officially" workout 3-4 times a week, instead of every day, and continue to incorporate more movement into my regular daily routine (longer walks with the dogs, take the stairs, etc). I probably won't post as much as I was earlier on in the year, but I'm still around.
It's good to see you Aussie and to hear you are at a good place, I like your idea of getting more activity into your day to day. Best wishes!

I got weighed today for a Spiromotary test and apparently I now weigh 74 kg. How the chuff have I put on 4kg of muscle in a few months? It's not physically possible. I've lost inches around my waist and yet put weight on in a ridiculously short amount of time. I do not believe it is all muscle. I'd like to beleive the scales were dodgy but I don't think they were. I'm also classed as borderline obese now.

I am going to get another opinion about thyroid problems now.

I really need to join this asap. I had a good groove going for a while when I started december last yr but keep falling on & off. However I have kept off 30 of the 50pds lost but I would like to drop 20more before the end of the yr.

Heres my plan: M_walk/run a mile & then belly dance dvd
T_treadmill for an hr & a half
W_ walk/run a mile & then belly dance dvd
TH_ treadmill for an hr & a half
F_ walk/run a mile & then belly dance dvd
Sat_ treadmill for 2hrs & denise austin ab dvd
Sun_ walk/run a mile & a half, belly dance dvd &
denise austin ab dvd
*In addition I also consume at least 2liters of water a day & take a daily
multivitamin

I was really good at keeping up this schedule consistently & when I did I had great results. However I do try to be realistic & not be too hard on myself & acknowledge that things happen or I may feel lazy one day so I try to do 7days but absolutely no less than 5.

So here's to me getting my butt bk in gear & I will be posting daily! Also when I can replace my broken exercise bike that will be thrown bk in the mix as well. Good luck to u all!
So...I have to say that I almost didn't exercise yesterday. However around 10:30pm I just sucked it up and did it. While I didn't do my mile walk or jump on the treadmill since it was so late & I didn't want to wake up everyone in the house, however I did do a 1hr & a half of bellydance & felt wonderful afterwards.

So here's to keeping things going today!
So yesterday I walked/jogged a mile and a half...today I'm suppossed to do the treadmill for an hr & a half. I'm feeling kinda lazy but I'm hoping not to give in to the Thanksgiving goodies...hum...maybe I'll just exercise while everyone is eating...
I've not been to the gym since monday morning because I got a cold after that. I'll see if I can get back tomorrow. I feel a lot better now but walking up stairs is a struggle.

I wonder why I keep getting sick?

Well my cold has finally nearly gone. Todays workout was a massive clean of my flat. I was sweating like I'd been on the cross trainer for 30 minutes.

I'm off work tomorrow so I'm off to the gym in the day for a good workout. I can tell when I haven't been for a few days, I get in a stabby mood and need to work off my frustrations!

25 minutes cardio and full weights.

I would have stayed longer but the forecast said snow and my gym is on the top of a hill so I thought any workout is better than no workout.

I've been doing my walks but not as consistently as I would like. I need to do better and add some weight training at home. C'mon Curlypearl - stop with the excuses!

I spent 90 minutes digging my car out of the snow yesterday and then had to spend another 20 minutes digging it out again today.

I also walked to the supermarket, 1.4 miles away in the snow because I couldn't get my car out and halfway back. I got on a bus then because I was knackered!

Gym's closed because of the snow. So the above was my workout for the last two days.

This week so far: Tuesday and Thursday morning - abs + 35mins of intervals on the elliptical. I NEED to get back to strength training on a more regular basis, so I am going to try to get that in either Saturday or Sunday. Keep up the great work, ladies!

Been doing 5 days/30 min/high resistance on treadclimber...

20 minutes cardio full body weights, yesterday and today. The weather is reducing my motivation.

Also unexpected ice skating to the car, to the gym and back to my place! Balancing on ice sure works those core muscles!
