Good luck with the interview.

Yesterday: 30 mins crosstrainer and 30 mins bike

Today: in agony with sore thighs and I didn't do anything different to cause it. I had to grit my teeth to walk down stairs! Used my foam roller but it was so sore I couldnt do it properly.

Biggest muscle groups got some weight training today, the little ones sort of hitched a ride with that.

Then 30 minutes on the bike.

Before I went into the gym I walked from the gym into town and back again for no reason other than it's a very nice day. But I did find some new shoes for work so it wasn't a complete waste of time!

Default I'm joining in...

On my weekend M-T-W I usually walk to our mailbox, it's 40 minutes round trip. So today I decided why am I giving "the man" my 30 minutes lunch when I don't take it and I generally "work" through it. We get hour lunches due to the mandatory 2 15 minute breaks.
I'm going to go at 1pm and walk out the tunnel around the parking lot and back. Should be 40 minutes but I'll time it and turn back at 20 to see.

I set up a reminder in my calendar cuz I'm that forgetful now.

I'm in the gym right now, just about to finish actually.

Today: full weights including the little muscles and 30 mins on the bike. It amused me that I kept getting funny looks from people because I lift heavier than most women here and have proper form or at least better than other people here.

I also did a cool down on the bike today. It's probably the first I've done this year.

Not sure when the last time I posted was, but I've been doing yoga 2x a week and elliptical-ing 3-4x a week pretty faithfully.

Good form is so important! It annoys me so much when I see young men thinking they're hot stuff when they have terrible form. Shameful.

Holy GOD! I just did a beginner's workout on the Nike trainer app (which is free btw!) and it kicked my butt to another planet. It was 30 minutes. I will be doing one a day for the next 2 weeks at home. After that I can do weights at the gym.

That felt great, aside from my quads quivering and rendering themselves useless.

I need to remember to download the Nike app.

Today at the gym:
30 mins treadmill
30 mins bike
30 mins cross trainer

I was trying to ride and crosstrain to the beat of the music on my playlist. It wasn't easy. I need to do another playlist with more beat variety.

Tomorrow I'm starting the 5x5 weight programme. Basically you lift the heaviest weight you can 5 times and do 5 sets. I'll report back on that.

Still loving the Nike training app! I have been doing the back and ab workouts. I am now fully recovered (thank god!) and will do the full workout again tomorrow morning.

Started 5x5 today. I got some funny looks off people but whatever. It's definitely quicker than a normal set of reps. Supposedly it gives faster results as well. It would be good for after work because I was slacking on weekday weights as I just didn't enough time.

So I did full body in the 5x5 programme and some time on the bike. I'm down for 30 minutes but I don't know if I can be bothered now.

My assessment of 5x5 after 24 hours:

My back muscles ache, my glutes ache but nothing else seems that affected. Maybe I didn't have the weights heavy enough? Going to do it again tomorrow but heavier. Good job I logged my weights yesterday.

I need lifting gloves because I have some serious callus's on my hands. Also I have crappy grip.

I can't remember exactly what I have been doing, but it's been a combo of abs and back.

Today:
30 minutes running (C25K)
15 minutes back (Nike Training)

Much better on the running. The last time I ran outside was in January. It was bitter cold and I was miserable. Today is gorgeous! I felt pretty good during it.

The back workout was okay. I am used to doing heavy weights on with my back, so doing some Pilate type moves leaves me unsatisfied. It's better than nothing though! That's what I'm trying to tell myself. The other morning I did not have enough time to do a full workout, but I still did a 15 minute ab workout, which was excellent btw.

Consistency. That's what I'm going for.

5x5 again today. I increased the weights and could only do 20 minutes cardio because I was that wiped out. My hands hurt where the callus's are developing.

I wish more people posted here. I am only mildly sore from the run. Yay! Tonight I plan on doing arms and abs. I am school until 7 though. Well, until whenever I finish my final that starts at 6.

With the 'bestest' diet on earth so you can loose 80 pounds in a day?

I've downloaded the Nike app. My gym is closed today and tomorrow because of elections so I'll have a go with it on saturday.
