Default Another product search...

Ok I am on another product search. My hair is an inch long. I cut it about a month ago. So I came across this Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie. Has anybody ever tried it? Some people were saying it does not define curls, but everybody says it's a good moisturizer. I am trying to find a product that is non-greasy, and dries soft. Something that leaves my hair touchable. Will The Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie define my curls? I know it dries soft, and it leaves your hair non-greasy and touchable.

I use the SheaMoisture line and love it. I used the smoothie when my hair was shorter. It defined very well and left my hair very soft. It is one of my favorites. Now that my hair is a little longer it doesn't define as much but my hair has also become looser. I like the Curl and Style Milk as my leave in now. I guess it's just personal preference.

products: after everything I've tried & loved, I'm now down to just using yes to carrots conditioner. i actually just rub it on my hair while dry, get my hair moisted up with just that, then carefully finger comb/seperate sections of my hair (takes about 15-20 minutes). after that, i hope in the shower, let the water hit and shake-rinse my hair and massage my scalp. once out, i simple let my hair air dry. every now and then, i'll use a diffuser.

btw, pardon my all lower case. i just love 'em.

No, kinky curly line is expensive. -_-
I am really thinking about getting the smoothie, but deep down inside I just know it's not going to work with my hair.

I just finished my Curl Enhancing Smoothie jar the other day. Like anthonyabbot said, as my hair is longer it did not do much in the definition department but that may not be an issue on shorter hair. I actually think it's a GREAT product. As of late, I've used it as a refresher or a second day hair reviver and it's been great for my medium sized fro. At the very least I think it's definitely worth a try!

tell me about it. i bought the kinky curly knot today leave in for $12. when i got home, i finally gave into the fact that my hair would gobble up that product and to avoid wasting it so fast in my hair, i just gave it to my mother (who went natural in december *claps*) and she is loving it. her hair is not thick like mine so the product is more worth for her than me.
