How's things people? Joining here as one of my readers reminded me of this forum. Seems to not have much movement but, still, it is nice to be in a forum where others are around. I will try my best to offer my advice and experiences where possible, I've tried it all when it comes to growing a curly mane!

I not only enjoy walking around with my curls but also enjoy lifting weights, going to/living in different countries, DJ-ing and just having an awesome time (when I have the time for it!). And because a picture is worth a thousand words, this is me with my mane:

I am motivated to grow my hair like Polamalu, do you have any tips for growing hair like yours? Im reading your blog but hope you dont mind kindly answering a question which you probably get asked a million times.

Don't worry, I do get that question asked a lot but I am happy to help.

In a nutshell: patience and experimentation.

Patience, it will take time. You may also find barriers along the way so be determined. Growing hair long is not for everyone and you will soon know whether it is for you or not.

Experimentation: do not be afraid to experiment. I am constantly seeking new things and put my hair to the test. Having said that, understand that you need to have a solid foundation before you start experimenting (e.g shampoo, conditioner, ways to manage the hair according to the situation).

There's more detail to it but I find these two elements to be the basis to growing curly hair.
