Good to see the thread got a good response. Thanks for the compliments!
Anyone want to give me some advice on styling my hair? it's getting too long for the side part.
Also, if i slick it back, how do i keep it there with just the conditioner?
I don't think hair can be too long for a side part, also I have had no luck with keeping my hair slicked back with just conditioner. I can do it with gel LA looks works well just scrunch it in after you shower the problem I always have is keeping it slicked back till its dry... but if you can make it to the dry stage then you will be good. If its a little crunchy when dry just give it another scrunch and your all set.

Both of you have looser patterns than me, but I've managed to slick it back after deep conditioning a few times.
kinda frizzy. have no clue how to care for it any tips?

You guys all have such beautiful hair! Gaah!
<3

I love all the hair pics!

(and yes, I am intruding)
Things I use: Olive Oil, Canola oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, shea butter, mayonnaise, eggs, milk, bananas

Everything I use is 100% natural. I make most of them myself because then I'm sure what's in it and I'm sure nothing's added, it's pure, it's natural.

Things I avoid: Mineral oil (codename: Baby oil), heat (I'm a total, no hair driers, no straighteners, no curling irons, no flat irons, no hot combs...nada), sodium chloride

Growing plan: At least 6 inches longer in a year.
Definite favorite of mine

I've been growing mine for around a year and 4 months

It's a little frizzy because i co-washed it today

My routine is simple: rinse off hair in the shower, apply suave naturals condtioner after the shower.
Co-wash once a week or when i feel it's dirty with suave naturals

You might want to use a different pic of your hair. This pic is blurry. And you may want to start your own thread so you can get more responses
