Default Ever been a hair model?

Hello fellas!

Have you ever been a hair model? If so, would you please share your experience, how you got the position, would you do it again, and what you did/didn't like?

I'd love to be one, but have had no luck finding a position. At your convenience, please share your feedback! Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm actually about to look into that myself. I'm closely connected to a lady who produces one of the major lines of hair products. And, at a few random barbershops, they've asked me to take pictures so that they could showcase my texture, so I figure I've already got something to set me apart from others.

I actually had a friend who was a Nexus model (body, face and hair). One thing you might want to do is call local promotions agencies. Promotions agencies look for models to sell all sorts of products and they often pay really well.

I have been a model (not a hair one) but i mainly became one because of the hair(several photographers approached me on the street and said they would like to see me in their next photoshoot)
This is my experience in Europe at least.
Mostly they hire women as "hair" models as the hair industry is mainly focused on female consumers,
You can always do a little research on the web, check some agencies etc.
Best of luck mate

I know you're thinking of modeling your hair, but if you're also looking to make $$ from your look and curly know-how, your could start posting a bunch of how-tos for curly hair on your youtube channel. Once you gain a substantial number of subscribers, send emails to a few of your favorite curly hair product companies w/links to your youtube channel, your website, and attach a jpg pic of yourself. Tell them you are excited about their products and are willing to review or promote their product/s on your channel/website, for $$. Plenty of people are doing this now.

You can also look into having your vids posted on this site in the "videos" section, possibly to review products for pay, or just to offer curly advice and increase traffic to your channel/website. Not sure how this works. You'd have to ask the staff about that.
