Hello

Im not sure if this is the right section but...

Im deciding to complete shave my hair bald. The problem is that Ive always had hair, all my life, even if very short. Do I have to change my shower routine (usually it is every single day I shower) and do I have to change my shampoo? (current one I use is this: Garnier Fructis Strength & Shine 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner the only reason I buy it Is because green is my favorite color that's it)

Where I live there isn't too much sun so Im not worried about sunburn or anything.

Thank you very much for your help
I've always had hair my entire life too, but I joined the military about a year ago, and of course I had to cut it all off. I was sad, but I'll have it back eventually.
As for your answer; your shower routine will change very slightly, you will not have to shower any less or more than you do now.
Don't shampoo everyday, it will dry out your scalp and cause dandruff, but don't undershampoo either, when I had hair, I shampooed maybe once every two weeks, and co-washed every other day, but when I cut my hair, I found that wasn't enough as my scalp would get very itchy and dirty after a couple of days (perhaps its my working environment), but it's unpleasant nonetheless. You don't have to change your shampoo either.

Some folks can pull that look off; however, some can't.
I like the bit of fuzz on the top. It gives a bit of a shadow/halo look when it is warranted. Good luck!
btw...A stache is always a plus!
In this case, more is not necessarily better.

I don't see a real necessity for shampoo if there's going to be no hair there... most shampoos are not really designed with the scalp in mind but the hair itself, and lots of them contribute to male baldness.

If you use bodywash on your body, guess what: the formulas/ingredients are almost identical to a lot of shampoos! Beware of 2-in-1 shampoos, they usually contain a lot of silicone which can cause scalp problems and I suspect even (real) baldness, each and every time I tried one my scalp got badly irritated and then broke out in crusty flakes that required a visit to a dermatologist to get a Rx shampoo...

But if you still like the idea of putting shampoo on your bare scalp, buy a bottle of baby shampoo, that is gentle enough to keep your scalp healthy but clean.
I'm balding too, just shaved mine with no guard and I hated it. Some people look awesome tho! Good luck sir.
