Do evrybody get their hair trimmed?? im just wondering cuz some probably dont cuz it's more of a cut than a trim and ppl are scared to get their hair trimmed. so, im just wondering if there's anyone here that doesnt get their hair trimmed or if it's normal to not get ur hair trimmed.

Back when I straightened my hair like crazy I would trim my hair fairly often, about every three months. Now that ive gone CG though I think imma wait a little bit longer than that before I get it trimmed- mostly cause I recently had a haircut and my layers were cut a little shorter than I wanted so it's time to grow it out

I have made a vow not to cut my hair until it gets to my bra strap, and even then I will only go to someone who knows how to cut curly hair. The couple times I have gone in for "trims" my hair lost at least two inches. Plus, I feel like curls hide split ends pretty well so I don't see the point as long as I'm taking good care of my hair.

I get my hair cut like every 6 months. and my hair grows at least an inch a month, so by the time I go in (if I'm cutting it back to the length it was the last time I cut it) it's more like a chop off. My hair is currently at right above bra strap length... I think I'm gonna grow it out to mid-back.

Yes I went natural a month ago and yesterday I blew out my hair and realized it was so uneven. . So I started trimming my own hair

You are brave! I tried trimming only my bangs once and made a mess. Congrats on going natural! I give you a lot of credit for taking matters into your own hands (LOL) and hope the trim turned out well.

I cut my front a little too short but I'm not worried its hair it'll grow back. And my front grows extremely fast and its been two weeks and people have said my hair grew a lot since then

Thank you its actually growing back now. I take 2 biotin pills a day Cuz I'm ready to play in it. Cutting my hair gave me a new.appreciation for myself . It made me way more confident

about 6 months ago my mum cut my hair when i needed to get rid of my split ends and i went from having hair halfway down my back to shoulder length. Its taken me months to get it to a decent length and don't trust her cutting my hair again. so when a few weeks ago i cut my split ends myself(my ends turn brown when split) i somehow did the back a bit choppy but the curls covered it up so it was ok. i haven't been to a hairdresser since i was 5 or 6 so i want proof that a hairdresser can actually cut curly hair.

I cut my own hair as well... it's curly so the uneveness won't be so obvious. I had split ends so it was time... I read somewhere that one should have their hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks. I'll probably trim again in December.
