No, I cut my hair already I'm in the " tryna grow it back stage" LOL Good luck transitioning tho, I was too impatient and annoyed with the two textures that I just went ahead and cut it. I transitioned for 10 months or less tho without knowing

Good luck with that! Are you gonna do it yourself? It becomes overwhelming, well for me Cuz I was excited. Well whatever you decide good luck and invest in some headbands. Here's a pic of my hair now . The second pic is a twist out.

Uhm well I had really bad hair breakage so for 4 months I use monoi ( Carols daughter ) it made my hair stronger. It's a shampoo and you don't need a lot it suds up.
I'll give you a list and a brief summary of what I use

1) cantu shea butter
The leave in conditioner and repair lotion.
I used them in the beginning but now I don't really because I have a lot of other stuff and I'm running low. But They're really good and smell great

2) mimosa hair honey & tui hair oil ( Carols daughter)
These are great also however they make my hair feel greasy and I hate that feeling. I know I use a lot . Lol it gives your hair shine and it smells great. When I use this I wash my hair afterwards sometimes...it may be different for you

3) twisted sista 30 sec curl spray
One side of my hair doesn't curl so I tried this...Idk of it works . To me it doesn't my sister says it does...
"/

4) kids organics
I have the shea butter conditioning shampoo, shea butter detangler lotion, the olive oil grow strong triple action growth stimulating action and the smooth styling gel. Lol wheew
These are realllllllyyyy good. I reccomend them, 2 come in a pack so I got the shampoo and the lotion together for like 4 bucks. I use these products the most. I ran out of the gel and lotion tho but these are good and they're for kids and they're ingredients contain no sulfate . No petrolatum, no alcohol so its really gentle.

5) Eco styler gel...
I just got it on place of my other gel
I got it 4 days ago so I really can't say much..it does the job tho.
But I miss my other gel

6) motions spray
Just to shine my hair..

7) Aussie ( Sydney smooth)
I have the big pump bottles . I got them on sale at target for like 4 dollars each. These are good. It helps with my frizziness.

herbal essences (none of your frizziness)
This product is good also...I don't use of a lot because its a little bottle and I over wash my hair so I use it once in a blue. This helps with frizziness and you see the difference right away.

9) root awakening john frieda

I use this like once every 2 weeks its a shampoo and conditioner. It says it improves hair health and I like this stuff. Its one of those minty shampoos that give your head that tingling feeling. That's how I know my hair is clean and that its working. Sometimes I don't feel the tingling in the back of my head because I had a fungal infection ( ease) like 2-3 years ago and I'm really cautious about that so I'll put the shampoo and conditioner in sometimes and let it sit in that spot just to make sure . I'm paranoid.

And I use roots of nature..curl reviving spray...this works better then the other one and it makes your hair soft and revives curl pattern

And get a spray bottle...you can put water and your conditioner in the bottle, screw the top on and shake shake shake and spray on your head...its for when your in a rush. Spritz it on and your good to go. I started doing this instead of taking a shower. I use to take one before bed and again when I woke up and my mom got mad cuhs she pays for water.

Anything else you want to know feel free to ask. I'll answer to the best of my ability. When will you BC?

I recommend the beautiful beginnings..they're easy for newbies and its no harmful products and its easy on the hair and the cantu shea butter...they have leave in conditioner so I use to wash my hair and then put in the cantu leave in conditioner.

Thanks, The leave in i use is creme of nature leave in creme conditioner but it has petrolatum and mineral oil so its heavy and leaves a greasy residue, so i now use palmers nourishing hair milk, its lightweight and its very moisturizing, i recommend it, i use cocoa butter, i'm not really loyal to any shampoo or conditioner, i but anything that says moisturizing and its a jumbo size lol i really liked the tresemme moisture rich conditioner it actually did what it said and it was jumbo size soo double whammy lol, i wanna tray herbal essence hello hydration and totally twisted, or pantene breakage to strength or the one made for curly hair, but i heard there only a temporary fix, which herbal essence do u use ? and how much does cantu shea butter cost and where can i get it ?

Ahh, I love TWAs! I miss mine. I used to wear cute little hair bows in mine all the time. Makes short hair adorable. Also, earings are your best friend. Don't worry, take care of your hair and don't give up!

Default TWA hairstyles to try

Hi! If you haven't tried, try the bantu knot out! Or you can just try the briaqqd out while its is wet. Water on natural air is the best setting lotion.
