Help Volumizing

So I am new to the website and everything seems so scattered! I have 3a hair and I wear it curly most the time, but sometimes I straighten it out. The products I have used in the past and love are Bain de Terre shampoo/conditioner for curly hair (camelina) and the curl cream. I also use pantene's mousse for curly hair. Right now I am using Tresemme moisture rich shampoo and conditioner, flawless culrs curl hydration lotion, and pantene's fine spray gel root lifter. My hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders and is healthy, but kind of on the thinner side. I just needed some feedback on how to get more volume into my crown because the only way I can seem to do it is by backcombing and using a lot of hairspray which I don't like because my hair isn't soft and touchable that way. I have tried the clips, plunking/plopping, and diffusing upside down, which gets my hair voluminous all around EXCEPT for the very top of my hair. Please help!

Welcome!!

If I want to get more volume at the crown I will do my final rinse upside down and then immediately after I get out of the shower (keep your head upside down) I will put my hair in a towel and then when I'm done getting dressed I will put my product in and plop. : ) It always gives my lots of volume!

Thanks, I will try that, I also want to buy Oidad's play curl volumizing line, has anyone tried it?

plopping and final rinsing is a good idea, i would also scrunch your products in upside down give your scalp a good message to really lift your roots. then flip back up n see if your happy with it
