Mousse Troubles.

Aussie has stopped making my favorite mousse. I have previously used Catch the Wave by them because it did not make my hair crunchy and made my hair exactly the curl I want. I need something that will do the same thing. Do you know of any mousse that does not make it crunchy and gives me volumn?

Actually they do still sell it, i just can't get it where i live right now. Still I need a new hair mousse for my hair.

I am in love with the coconut mousse by organix its great 😃😃 hope this helped!
well, Aussie and Herbal Essence makes a few other mousses that are easily accessible.

-Aussie Aussome Volume Styling Mousse
-Aussie Instant Freeze Sculpting Mousse
-HE Body Envy Mousse
-HE Set Me Up Mousse (careful of a possible new formula)
-HE Totally Twisted Mousse

These shouldn't get too crunchy, but if they do, just gently SOTC with a tiny, tiny bit of oil. I did HETT mousse today and it was great--lots of volume, though frizzy at the end of the day, but my hair always does that.

@lucybird123 thankyou! i was looking to see if they made a mousse and I didn't see it at my local Ulta store hopefully I can find it at sally's.
@SaraNoH yeah I have tried all the herbal essences, the only one i liked was the (1) strength light purple, i don't remember the name but they quit carrying that as well. And the Aussie Volumn holds curl well? I was nervous about trying it becuase it looked like it wasn't made for holding curls.

I'm always skeptical about specifically labeled "curly hair" products, unless it's from a trusted brand (usually smaller, lesser known brands). I feel like 98% of it is marketing and the power of suggestion, so that's where experimenting comes in. Generally mousse lends itself well to finer and looser curl patterns since it's so.... fluffy.

On the brightside, it's fairly inexpensive, and if you really don't like it you could return the item (I believe most stores will let you, as long as it's not seriously used up, lol).
