Default Can tanning in the sun give u skin cancer?

I have been tanning ah - lot lately. I go to the pool nearly everyday. And people always tell me not to go to tanning booths cause the uv rays can cause skin cancer. Can tanning just in the sun give skin cancer?

Yes. The only truly safe tan comes from a bottle. My cousin was diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 25.

Smile Here are the statistics (sorry kinda nerdy, bear with me)

Tanning in sun gives you a 10%-20% increased chance

Tanning booths/beds 30%-50% increased risk

Now sprays on the other hand don't add a risk of skin cancer but be cautious because u could have an allergic reaction to it and if used to much it could still make u sick. Hope that helps!
