No-poo method

Ok, so I tried doing the no shampoo method but it just makes my hair greasy and gross. I'm wondering if it's temporary or if I can continue trying to do it. Also, what would I do if I get all sweaty and gross during sports should I use shampoo or just rinse it really well (if I continue the no shampoo method)
Usually there's a transition period where your scalp tries to get used to not using shampoo. I'm not sure how long it lasts though, from a couple days to weeks. It's different for everybody. But if you stick with it, it would pass.

Anyways, what kind of no shampoo method are you using? Co-washing (conditioner only), baking soda/acv rinses, egg washes, sulfate free shampoo, clay, or those shampoo bar or dr. Bronners whose name I don't remember..? I do co-washing and the occasional bs/acv rinses.

For the greasies, you could try washing more often, if possible. Or some people drizzle cornstarch (light hair) or cocoa powder/cinnamon (dark hair) to soak up some of the oils.

I find with certain conditioners my hair doesn't get as greasy as much. Not to bash VO5 or suave or anything, but I noticed that my hair gets greasy faster and feels more limp when I use those (though I'm sure it works for others!) but when I use my Aveda (expensive for some, but I get it from my friend for free.) conditioner, it feels like shampoo without the dryness. So, I guess you just gotta find the products for you.
no if its not working don't do it it didn't work for me
