Default People say I Look Mexican/African-American?

Ok,so,I am mixed. My dad's African-American and my mom's from Afghanistan. But people tell me I look black and Mexican. Do I really (I'm on my profile picture...)look like that

My hair texture has changed from manageable curls to wildly long, frizzy almost afro. Well, that only happens when I don't put any products in it after I wash my hair. What should I use on my hair? I like the fact that I have thick hair (I'm the only one out of my family with hair like this). But I use olive oil in my hair, and leave it in. I try to use the smallest amount, maybe like 1 or 2 ounces. I like that it stops frizz but it reduces my hair thickness to like half it's real texture and I just want to find a way to keep my hair big without it looking nappy and unkempt. What should I use? Oh,and are their any other mixed people with hair like mine?

Well that's an uncommon mix to be half middle eastern but I'm sure people don't mean to offend you.If you want to you can clarify it or just let them assume.
Apparently I look African but people never say that unless they kind of know me or are trying to.Total strangers don't just walk up and say that so I'm glad I don't have to clarify. That I know of I'm not really since I'm not sure of my ancestory it dates very far back as many Americans. If its a friend or I have the time I say no I'm not I'm American Black my mom is from South America but she's Black.Otherwise I just say no I'm American that's it! But if the person that asks is African I don't get offended because I understand he/she thought they saw someone they can relate to.

People tend to assume ethnicity from hair...I'm white, but people often think I'm Asian or occasionally Mexican...Some say my eyes are squinty and some say it's my hair. I can't say what you look like because I can't see your profile pic.

I'm 15 now but I don't get on often so I may be 67 by the time you read this.
My name is Sarah.
I come on here when I want hair advice because if you type in "curly hair" anywhere, all you get is advice on how to curl it. I used to get on here a lot when I was like, 12 or 13 (and first figuring out how to stop straightening my hair without being bullied), so if you happen to see some older posts of mine, shh. No judging.
