It looks like you have processed ends in the front....the rest of the hair looks like type 4. The real important factors are porosity and texture.....not curl pattern.

Processed with a chemical.....relaxer, texturizer, etc. Because it's stringy.

Not at all. That's just a temporary product that doesn't change the molecular structure of your hair. Something permanent, like a perm or relaxer that permanently alters that portion of the hair until it grows out.

Oh ok. Yayy! I have not process then. Actually, I am in college in the states for a exchange program and people ask me if i lace my hair..but idk what this is so usually I just say No.

What does it mean to lace hair?

And, here is a picture of my hair that I take just now.

Oh....cool! So where are you originally from?
Your hair is probably stretched a lot in the front so the curl has been lost in areas.

As far as lacing your hair....I haven't a clue. I've only heard of lace front wigs or weaves but I'm sure that's not what they mean.

When you pull it back like you did in that pic.....you're stretching your curls out and sometimes they lose their curl.

okay, so I was thinking i was a 3c or 4a?....or if i am in the 4s which 1? I'm not as professional with hair as you are of course. But, when I look at the hair type guide on here and I see the pictures of say hair type "4c". I dont think i would be that or a 4b or a. idk maybe I'm going simply off looks when there is more to the textures? my porpsity is normal and idk what texture really iz, i just base it off the way it looks...my elasticity maybe shrinks about 25%. So, does that help?

I can't tell ya'.....I don't know much about the 4s. It just appeared to be in the 4s. Maybe go to the 4 board....but I think they'll tell you that the other factors are what matters most when it comes to understanding your hair and what works for it.

Nice it looks like mine but I'm recovering from heat damage so mine has wavy+straight ends while some parts are curled like its suppose to.
I see mostly 3c but I think it also can be 4a..not an expert and don't try to be exact/obsess over what type it is.They use similar products so you should get good results if the technique is right.
