Pixie cut!

As the years have passed, my hair has started to get more and more tricky to deal with. It used to be about armpit length and it would take me an hour every night to brush it out.
So a couple years ago, I got it done shoulder length, and I've kept it about there since. But I've been trying to grow it long, and lately I've been wondering if the difficulty is worth it. I can only imagine my hair will be 10x more difficult to deal with once it's long. Plus I've dyed my hair to the point where it's so damaged it's at risk of falling out.
I've been considering getting a pixie cut (similar to this: http://www.heyuguys.co.uk/images/201...Wallflower.jpg but probably shorter). Problem is, my hair is so frizzy that I'm not sure whether I'd have a cute pixie cut or an afro.

My hair looks like this when it's brushed: http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...03460547_n.jpg

Like this on a good day: http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...58871614_n.jpg
And as you can kind of see here the bangs poof a lot more than the rest of my hair: http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...13128753_o.jpg

So do you think I could pull off a pixie cut? Would my hair be straight if I cut it like that?
I don't think you should get a pixie cut. First of all I have envied Emma's hair but have finally resined myself to the fact that MY HAIR WILL NEVER LIE THAT FLAT. I really believe that you need pin straight hair to have that cut. The other thing is that a lot of people here are trying to grow out pixie cuts that they say are "the worst hair chose EVER!". Can you imagine trying to grow your cut out with wavy/curly hair? I think you are way better off going curly girl and embracing your natural hair because your pattern looks like it would be gorgeous!

You can learn more about the curly girl method here or waterlily716 on youtube explains it well.

Good Luck!
