How many months natural are you ? What do you enjoy most about being natural ?


I'm 16 months natural, I did my big chop Aug 6th 2011. I really just enjoy my hair, the fact that I'm able to do so much more with it and I learned stuff I never would have learned had I not cut it off

I've been natural for almost 16 years now :D But I enjoy how much I can do with my hair. It's so versatile and free :)

im 9 months natural almost one year can't wait but for now im wearing lots of protective styles and the occasional high puff :) but I LOVE BEING NATURAL i cant believe i used to care about what people thought about my hair if i didn't i'd be at least natural for 3 years but whatever i'm loving my journey :)

going on 3 years this month! woo hoo!

i feel like the only one who thinks this, but what i love most about my hair is SHRINKAGE!!! it's like our hair is magical lol. my shrunken hair looks like i big chopped yesterday lol but if i blow it out it's to my underarms. it blows my mind every time. :tongue10:

I'm 6 months natural and my hair has been going from curly to straight to wavy throughout this time :icon_smile: Some days I love it and other days I disgust looking myself in the mirror...but I get so many compliments when people see me with my natural hair so I may as well embrace it!

... My whole life? My hair is EXTREMELY difficult to straighten, and honestly looks really bad when it is. It's all dry looking, and frizzy. Just terrible. My natural curls are shiny and bouncy.

About 3 years (after 3 years of transitioning).

I'll be 4mo on the 18th

It's kinda debatable but I guess 6 months

I've been natural since the day I was born. My mom never liked the idea of putting chemicals on my hair at a young age. She was going too give me a relaxer at the age of 16, but then she realized that it wasn't good for a girl at any age.
