Pineapple method...problems >_<
So recently I've been doing a curly hair routine where, after I'm done I put my hair in a high pony tail (pineapple) and head to bed,
the next morning it will come out nicely, but the rest of the days, the side area of my hair will appear stretched out..there will be little to no curl definition only on the side areas of my hair!!:cry:
I would have to spray water and apply coconut oil again just to get the curls to return.
But does anyone else experience this problem with the pineapple method?
How can I fix/prevent it?
I use to do the pineapple method before I cut my hair but now its too short and i get the same problem.
I pin the sides back being careful not to stretch out the curl and it works for me. Also I do two pineapples so there is less stretch.
Make sure your either sleeping with your silk or sating sleeping cap on or with your silk or satin pillowcase on your pillow.

When my curls stretch out overnight I spray with water and diffuse upside down briefly until its all dry. My curls are tighter and just as bouncy as first day hair!
