Default Drying methods

Recently I have discovered that my drying method for my curling hair is not effective. Essentially I put product in my hair upside down (a gel of some type to rid of frizziness) and then let it air dry.

But I have recently been putting my hair up in buns right after I get out of the shower and when I let it down at night, it is a fantastic curly. (even when compared to being air dryed)

Any tips on how to dry it better so that I can recreate better curls for the day time and not the night time? I know there are wraps and stuff, anyone have any things to share?

there is a drying method called 'plopping' which helps with defining curls and drying hair quickly. You may have heard of it... Here's a link on how to do it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq4tDMf__YU

Don't put gel in your hair, instead of using towels to dry your hair I just wrap my hair up in a old t shirt and it does the job without adding the fridge.
