BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
You can try taking some Biotin vitamins. They're supposed to be amazing for hair growth. Also, you can try stretching your hair by either doing twist outs, braid outs, Bantu knots, etc. YouTube will give you a million tutorials on what you can do. Diffusers work well too for stretching out your hair if you use it on your roots. Good luck!
Try changing the way you take care of your hair. Do you deep condition once a week or every time you wash? Do you put your hair in protective styles? ( high buns are my favorite and they are easy to do)? If you dont like how small buns look go on youtube n look up How to big bun on short natural curly hair n click on the black girl with the glasses. She really helps. Also do you moisturize your hair n lock it in with oil? Water is a good moisturizer but you have to seal it in or it will go away. U can do the LOC method which means liquid oil then cream. Or u can change it around to your likin but alway use L first. I do LOCO. O yea dont play in ya hair alot if u keep messin with it it can break off easily. I had to learn that the hard way. Smh..... Before you wash your hair detangle gently dont rush cuz u can pull ur hair out. I use my fingers but u can also use a wide tooth comb. Thats all i can think of now but if i think of sumthin else i gotchu.
I'm a type 3b, and I currently have hair that reaches just below my boob(when stretched)I had that same problem, and three..no, four things helped me.(At the time I started following these I was right around collarbone length(straight).
So, here's what helped me.

1)Obviously I gave up heat. Simple start, obviously.

2) I stopped getting my hair cut regularly. You know the whole, you're supposed to get it trimmed every 6 weeks thing? Yeah, I was cutting off all my growth. Now I don't trim it unless I actually see it's damaged badly and needs to be trimmed. That helped alot.

3)As far as stretching it, I braid it while it's damp, anywhere from 1 to 4 braids depending on how wavy/straight. I want it to be.

4) Treat your hair like lace. SUPER DELICATE. Don't let it get stuck under things, don't brush it, no heat of course, no teasing, no nothing.

5) The ultimate solution. It depends how much you'll do for long hair fast. This is what I do for a 1/2 inch of growth of week-Miconazole Nitrate. Now before, I'd have neverrrr used this, simply because-it's a cream for vaginal infections. But, after reading soooo many threads with so much success from the Long Hair Community and other places, I had to try it. so I did, and I've had so much success. Apparently it kills growth-inhibiting bacteria on your scalp, thus allowing your hair to grow more. I've had so much success, just massage into my scalp everyday. I really would look it up if you're serious about growing your hair long.

I hope any of this helped!
Thank you sooo much thats exactly what size i want my hair to reach by any chance do have any pics to show me?

I used the cream (generic brand from Walmart which was $5) & I noticed a huge difference. My hair was magenta but my roots grew in fast & thick. I probably got an inch in about a month but then I big chopped it lol. I'm currently starting to use it again now & my hair is already growing after two weeks of using the cream twice a day everyday.

(Sorry for all of the questions!)

It rubs right into my scalp & isn't greasy or drying for me. It doesn't have a smell either so I just keep reapplying it everyday because it soaks up into my scalp. I wash my hair twice a week. Search up miconazole nitrate on nc or google & read everyone's reviews & how they dilute their mixture. Some people use different oils to prevent headaches. You can see how long ladies' hairs have gotten on YouTube as well.
My thing is... Who even thought to put that in their scalp? HAHA!

It's crazy that people say it actually works though... Like, I just want to know who in the world took the time to find out. Haha!
