Just as a suggestion have you tried looking in magazines or for pics online with people in them who have curly hair? That might be a good place to start. Good luck!

I found a picture of a cute style that uses bangs, just make sure they're cut dry, or else you'll end up with something more like these

I LOVE! The first pic...except I don't think I could get that with my hair type..... Oh...well, good luck to you on finding a good cut!

What's your hairtype?

I find that cuts come out very differently on different hairtypes. I am a wavy whose hair looks great brushed out, but it's so thick that I can't cut it in certain ways.

I think I'm a 3b...it's pretty kinky on really humid days though. here's a new pic from the back.

That was just take 2 days ago.... More pics would be cool to see. It's long in the front as well, pretty much one length all around.

I've been wanting, begging and pleading with my mom so I can get bangs, I didn't think that they could be that bad. But now that I've seen these pictures I'll be sure to take EXTRA caution when getting them cut. Thanks so much for posting the pics!!

I was nervous to get bangs, but I'm so glad that I did. It's just the best, simple way to spruce up a hairstyle!

I originally had my bangs straightened with my curly hair... like so:

Now, I'm wearing my bangs curly. Here are some pictures, sorry if the quality isn't that great... I just took them with my phone.

I hope this helps! Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

when i got bangs, it did not work at all. I just ended up with tiny, freaky tendrils all around my face. They didn't flow at all. it depends on your hair type though.

I love.love.love. your hair!!! Mine is curlier than yours but I think I could get a similar style. What did you ask your stylist for? Did you get it thinned at all or does it just naturally cooperate (if so, lucky duck!)?

Ok, so I originally had my stylist cut my bangs so I would be able to do a straightened side bang like the original picture. I eventually got tired of straightening them, although I liked how it looked. I just kinda played with them for a while to try to get them to work. If you twist your bangs, they GENERALLY go where you want them to be.

You should be able to do this. My hair is slightly curlier than it is in this pic. I had it back all day and took it down when I got home.

HTH!

Default Not a reply but question.

Yeh the title says it all. I just got an account so I don't know how to use it yet. Anyway I have curly hair and if I brush it it gets huge. I have a long face so now I try to keep my hair shoulder length short but never know what hairstyle to get I allways just cut it and get long layers and no bangs because i'm afraid they'll be big blobs in the center of my forehead. When my hair gets longer the curls tend to go staight to the bottom and the top doesn't have as much volume or curls. My hair is now up to my chest and I want to cut it I just don't know what kind of style. Can someone help and I don't want to straighten it or anything to damage it. Thanks .
