how not to look BLAH

HI so im 16 and ive just recently accepted my curly hair, part of the reason i always straightened it was b/c my curly hair, all down, makes me look young and after a while i run out of ideas to do with my hair, either all down or all up, and i get tired of it and it looks blah so i return to straightening it. any tips or suggestions? much appreciated.
Headbands, hair clips, bobbypins can all make a difference. What about a messy updo? Just hold your hair in one hand and pin around it, holding all the hair in place. My stylist did this once to me and I loved it. Make sue to cross your bobby pins for extra hold.
Or you could go half up. Either way, it still looks excellent.

P/w: curls
I got angled layers put in mine which works really well. Also, I put it up in a messy bun (and sometimes straighten the two front pieces or blow dry around the top to get little pieces around it) and then put some kind of sparkly or fun clip above the bun.
i just wear my hair down and thats it but sometimes i will take some of my hair in the front(what used to be my bangs) hold it in front of my face and put it straight back and pin it with a bobby pin(or however you spell it)
i personally think that straight hair is way more blah than curly hair, but thats just me! i really like doing high messy pony tails with a pompadour (front section pinned back or to one side in a kinda poofy way).
