Alot of times I go to bed with my hair wet. I'm getting a perm, but, when I do I'm worried about that. See, alot of the time I bathe right before I go to bed, so my hair's wet alot when I sleep. My mom, who's gotten two perms before when she was younger warned me that if I get a perm, and go to bed with wet hair it'll look bad in the morning and outa control. I'm not willing to blow dry it even a little, so what else can I do for a controlled style?

Sorry, let me get this straight: You have naturally straight hair and you're perming it curly? Or something else? I'm kinda confused.

Oh...Well to reccomend products, we kinda have to know what curl type your hair will be, etc.

A good drugstore conditioner, though, is v05 Tea Therapy, and it's cheap! Some people are liking the new Herbal Essences Set Me Up Gel. Some are also liking Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Gel (but this has a softer hold).

Back to the original question...Er, you could braid your hair in loose braids at night. Or you could pineapple, that is do a really loose ponytail on the top of your head. Mix a little bit of conditioner and water in a spray bottle and spray it on your hair in the morning.
