well I never straighten my hair, so I guess curly
I really don't see why girls straighten their hair to get attention from guys. From what I gather from everyone, it's the more MATURE ones who love curly hair, so what's the problem? Wouldn't you want a mature guy?
I'll admit that it's nice to get attention from the hotter ones, but in the long run, I'll take the nicer, more more mature ones who respect who you are no matter what your hair looks like <3

When I wear it curly...
I get more attention from anyone when my hair is curly, because people think I'm Taylor Swift!! (So flattering!) So I obviously wear it curly more!

curly
I've only worn my hair straight once, and people were just like "ok then....." Straight hair doesn't suit me, and my boyfriend says he loves my hair curly. I look way older with curly hair as well.

the "sad" truth
the sad thing about it.
i actually get noticed when my hair is straight.
i really don't understand.
i thought it would be the other way around.
i guess, because all "guys"
see are the video vixens with USUALLY
long flowing hair...
where i reside...guys
want the girls with the LONG "str8" hair..

Straight
I get more compliments when i straighten my hair, like i see a lot of people saying on here. I have no idea why. Maybe its the fact that i look older and can run my fingers through my hair when its straight or maybe its jsut because its different from my normal curly hair. I love all of the attention, but to tell you the truth, i would rather have my curls. It gives me personality, it gives me bounce And so many girls try to get our curls, but many fail, which gives me pleasure

curly at the club
i always wear my hair curly when i go out. so many guys find it "hot" lol theres something very seductive about curly hair, its exotic. also, i straightened my hair once and realized how lame it was. as soon as i started dancing and sweating, it got super frizzy and gross, when my curly hair gets moist, it looks good lol

Well... I think it depends on the guy! Lots of people commenting on this have said how their curly hair makes them look younger or whatever... and personally, I agree. But that's not the case with everybody
Don't just straighten your hair because you think guys will like it better. If you're gonna straighten it, do it for yourself! Do it because YOU want to change your style for a bit, not for anybody else. At the end of the day, it's YOUR hair, and if you straighten it all the time, you're gonna damage it. Trust me, I would know. I used to straighten my hair all the time for one year. I never wore my hair in its natural state, because I thought that my curly hair made me look like a child, and I wanted long, shiny straight hair. What I got was dry, damaged haystack hair. Well, since then I've discovered that there's nothing more beautiful than a healthy head of hair

A couple years back, a lot of boys were rly into me and i had curly hair. however, recently (probably bcuz im in middle school) boys seem to go for the straight haired girls. idk y but (at my school at least) they seem to like them better. however, i'm not gonna straighten my hair just becuz it might get boys to like me better. don't worry, the perfect guy will come for u who likes ur hair as it is naturally, curly. and if he doesn't hes not worth ur time.

Getting Guys 101
1. What kind of guy are you trying to "get"?
a. a superficial fling so you can look and feel cool
b. a meaningful relationship
2. If your answer is "a":
By all means blow fry your hair if that's what gets you the attention. Just know that it doesn't mean anything and try to be prepared in case it ever rains. Because, God forbid we let someone else see how we really are.
3. If your answer is "b":
Do your hair how you want to. Do it for yourself. Take care of it. If a guy is attracted to who you really are, it's worth a whole lot more. Think about it. If some guy is drooling over a photoshopped picture of a girl in a magazine, does it really mean anything? No. That girl doesn't even exist.
Are you really wanting someone to talk to you because of your hair?

I never straighten my hair so I attract the most boys when curly.
Preach! I couldn't have said it better myself. And Haha & "blow-fry" I said that the other day and someone looked at me crazy.

LMFAO i agree with both of you honestly, hair texture/type isn't much of a factor in a guy's attraction to you. what plays a bigger role is your hair's health, thickness, softness, and how it suits your face and overall appearance. after all, the guy is dating you, not your hair! xD

Um... I guess it really doesn't matter much. 3 or 4 of my closest friends are guys. They really don't care very much. I think they like it curly better because I myself am more comfortable that way. Confidence matters much more than hair.

Well, I'm homeschooled so I don't really hang out with many guys. But at my church, there's this 18 year old who flirts with me (only when he DOESN'T have a girlfriend), no matter how often I tell him I don't date. :P And I'm 15, so it's like, HELLO! Age difference! When I had straight hair, I wore jeans and shirts that were a little tight. He flirted with me a lot, and left me alone when he had a GF.Now that I'm wearing my hair curly, I'm also wearing loose, knee-length skirts, stockings (or pantyhose), a baggy T-shirt (Cookie monster and Johnny Cash are favorites), and one of my flower headbands, SoI think he's finally getting the "Weird" vibe that I'm constantly throwing out to everyone around me, cause even since he and his GF broke up, he's been leaving me alone. So I guess it isn't ONLY hair that gets guys to be interested. If you're more confident in your natural hair, I think the guys can kind of sense that. And if you're jusr plain weird (such as myself), they'll probably be less interested.

I only straightened my hair twice. And people told it doesn't suit me. I get the most attention I think when I have my hair in a side low ponytail. I started wearing my hair down recently and it just gets really really big. I'm still looking for the right products and hair routine.
