Another vote for To kill a mockingbird, Lord of he rings & anything from Oscar Wilde - esp the importance of being earnest which I'm rereading now. Very funny.

Love Flowers for Algernon. Also Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye. I'm a sucker for Of Mice and Men as well. And I taught Animal Farm for four years and really grew to appreciate the connection to the Russian Revolution.

1984 was great, I just finished Tess of the d’Ubervilles which I thought was pretty interesting and quite scandalous. I also like Jane Eyre

To Kill A Mockingbird was great, of course, although my favourite classics are A Tale of Two Cities and Les Miserables. (Because the book and the movie are night and day.)

I haven't read David Copperfield yet (and as Dickens is my favourite author classics-wise, I need to.)
Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank. Everyone should read it.

Jane Eyre!

I thought Tess of the D'Ubervilles was depressing as hell, but loved Hardy's The Mayor of Castorbridge and Far From the Madding Crowd.

Somerset Maugham's Of Human Bondage
Hamlet (and if you can see the National Theatre Live production with
Rory Kinnear, he is the best Hamlet ever)
Of Mice and Men
One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich
Cry, The Beloved Country
3a/b, F, normal porosity

Suave conditioner, LAL gel
David Copperfield, definitely. I want to be like Betsey Trotwood.
Oh, and I love classic novels, but Wuthering Heights?! Eesh. I didn't like anyone in that story.
All Great titles mentioned.

I'll add Brothers Karamazov
i loved the Anne of green gables books and the great Gatsby!
