"Constructive Living" by David K. Reynolds improved my life more than anything else I have ever read. It's flawed, but amazing.

Highly recommended.

Books by the author Paulo Coelho are all good. I feel like they answer the questions to life. Everything that I have experience in my life so far has been explained through those books. They are just different and reach into the inner spirit. Can't really explain, but it's a good read.

As someone else mentioned, reading is a huge part of my life. I of course have favorites but I can think of several books that I read at "just the right time" and had an impact on shaping who I am and how I view the world - sometimes "changing" me and sometimes just putting what was already there into words.

Some of these may sound cliche, but:

The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged both by Ayn Rand
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King
1984 by George Orwell
Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Invisible Monsters by Chuck Pahlaniuk

That's off the top of my head lol.

Kisses From Katie definitely challenges you to be a better person.

I'd have to agree with The Four Agreements by Ruiz... and What Not To Wear by Trinny and Susannah

So many books affected my life in some way. In my younger years it was books by Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Ray Bradbury, Mary Stewart, Stephen King, Arthur Clarke.
And at the top of the list is JRR Tolkien. Every book and story still strikes a chord with me.

Another book that really hit home was Meeting Rozzy Halfway by Caroline Leavitt. Have read it many times. Hurts my soul every time.

And this book changed my life in a big way. The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Allan Carr. It helped me quit smoking cold turkey after being a heavy smoker for almost 40 years.
