Gone Girl was a page turner, but I was kind of disappointed with the ending.

I read a sample of "The Joy of X" about math, but even two chapters left me confused.

Now I'm trying to find "Android for Dummies."

I've been on a Ruth Rendell bender, but I'm hoping to get off soon.

I just read "What Alice forgot" for my book club. I really enjoyed it! It was funny and I finished it in 3 days which is a record for me cause I hardly have time to read.

The Room by Emma Donoghue - unusual. Good. Now I've just started her Slammerkin, which is totally different from the other, though I can't yet judge as to whether it's in a good or bad way - the former, I think and hope.

I just finished both Julie Hyzy's Manor House and Whitehouse Chef series - light, escapist mysteries.

Just happened on her on Amazon because I was looking for a Diane Mott Davidson book, and the Whitehouse Chef series has recipes as all DMD's Goldy books do, so they popped up as recommendations.

American Psycho. It's as exhausting to read as the movie was to watch. Don't get me wrong. I really like it! It's just tiring to read that constant swirl of endless dialogue.
