My youngest daughter read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer for a book report. She became addicted and wanted the whole series. My oldest daughter started to read out of boredom. She then became hooked. I felt left out because they always had discussions about the books. So, I decided to read the first one to join in the discussions. I became hooked. I read all 4 books within two weeks!

John Green's Books, my favorite is Paper Towns. An Abundance of Katherines is very good as well.

I just read the book Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson. Loved it! I liked most of her other books, too, including 13 Little Blue Envelopes and Girl at Sea.

I love Louise Rennison's "Georgia Nicholson" character. Really funny and honest.

I've heard Paper Towns is good. I also like the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield. I read the first chapter of his book, So Yesterday online and I'm going to get it soon.

BTW... I went through my Twilight phase, but for me it was just a phase, the fascination didn't stick. I'm thinking about selling my Twilight books...

I've read the Twilight series. I thought the series was amazing.

I just finished Marked which is the first book in the House of Night series (it's about vampires )) by P.C. & Kristin Cast and so far I think that it's a lot better than Twilight. I'm getting the second book, Betrayed from a friend on Monday so I can't wait until I can start reading it.

I also LOVED the book The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I cannot wait until the second book comes out in September.

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot are good! I love Twilight!

The Maximum ride series is a good science-fiction series.

I work at a library, so I see new books all the time. I would try the "Uglies," series by Scott Westerfeld,
"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," (another series) by Ann Brashares,
"Kiki Strike Inside the Shadow City," by Kirsten Miller, and "The Mysterious Benedict Society," by Trenton Lee Stewart. Hope this helps!
