I'm going through some tough times and have been reading anything I can get my hands on. It's very therapeutic for me and gives me a way to "escape" for a bit. I struggled through my last book but read it anyway because it kept my mind busy and off other things. I'd like something I won't be able to put down.

Any suggestions?

I've been reading the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne. I had to take a break to read Cold Days by Jim Butcher but I'm back to IDC #3. They're quite entertaining for me. I read some reviews and some are claiming that IDC is identical/theft of Dresden. Ehhh, not so much. There are small similarities but I wouldn't even stretch it to identical.

I read it The Other Side of Midnight about 35 years ago and liked it at the time. I wonder what I'd think of it now . . . Haven't read anything else of his since nearly that long ago.
